The initial version of the aftermath of the situation of Nahoya throwing Myoga into the water was hilarious, but having time to think about it over the months, I realised it was going in a socially negative way, and so, I came up with an even negative-r way T_T jk, but I've basically turned the storyline of the chapter some ten times over.

If you actually ever read my notes before the chapters, you'd know this isn't the first time.

The last thing Muto Yaorashi expects on festival night is a call from a way-too-serious Mikey talking in a tone that could only mean trouble.

Of course, the first thing that appears in his mind is the doubt on why he is the one being called and not Draken, or maybe Mitsuya. It is not until a moment later when Mikey cuts the small enquiry about his whereabouts, and explains the situation, that the fifth division captain understands.

"I have been waiting for Kenchin here at the port for almost an hour now. He isn't answering his phone, so I tried calling Mitsuya-kun in case they're together but he wouldn't answer either."

This part alone is enough to tell Muto something is not right at Draken's end — it isn't like him to be the one unpunctual.

"Baji told me him and Chifuyu heard two different versions of both the boys' plans for the festival from our gang members earlier while shopping at Kawata store. Amusingly, I overheard a completely different version in the same scenario."

Even Muto remembers overhearing some gang members talk about Mitsuya wanting to spend some time with his family at the festival, though the boy had himself stated he would be hanging out with friends.

This is not the only thing weird Muto had found about it earlier then — why should regular members be discussing the festival plans about their captains anyways?

"Chifuyu still mentioned that Mitsuya-kun was around (Name)-chan and that Nahoya-kun would be with them. And guess, neither of the two are answering their phones either."

Muto's eyes narrow.

If this is trouble arises because you are involved (which would not be too surprising for him), he would seriously need to talk Mikey into keeping the headache (you) away from the gang, and the boy himself.

"Emma was supposed to be hanging out with Kenchin earlier. Another friend of mine know was with them. Neither of the two would answer — I would not have found any of this weird if Moebius turned up tonight."

And that is when it strikes Muto too.

"Me and Kenchin were supposed to officially disband them tonight and declare Toman's control over the area but despite having a defeated leader and agreeing to it earlier, none of the members have turned up."

"So it suggests... " Muto presses the phone closer to his earlier, his voice trailing off towards the end but not putting words to end the sentence to complete the idea formed within his mind.

"That we've been duped." Mikey does it for him.

"And the fact that members of our gang were the ones tipping off different versions of the whereabouts of all Toman captains at Kawata store suggests our members are involved." Muto frowns, "How come?"
