12. The Talk

They're now 1h into the movie. Sunoo sudenly gets a notification......from his boss.....

Sunoo's face gets pale realy quickly. He slowly gets up and walks to the entrance door.

"Where are you going?" Heeseung asks Sunoo as he sees him leaving.

"Oh um, I'm geting a package delivered so I have to go pick it up." Sunoo guickly makes something up before he shuts the door.

Sunghoon glances at Sunoo shuting the door. Is it his fault again. Did Sunghoon's presence make him uncomfortable?

"From when do they deliver packages so late?" Jake asks. The others just look at each other confused before they conrinue watching the film.

Sunoo slowly aproaches the door to his bosses office and knoks."Come in," the person from inside says. He takes a deep breath before entering.

"Hello Sunoo take a seat." the boss says as Sunoo walks in. "What do you need me for?" Sunoo asks like he doesn't know what this is about.

"We need to discuss the fact that you want to leave the group." the boss says, "Is there a reason why you want to leave or?"

"There is a reason but I can't share it with you. I'm sorry." Sunoo says in a low tone.

Sunoo always dreamt of being an idol. He debuted at a young age throug the survival show " I-land". Since then a smile never left his face.

But now sudenly, after 4 years of being in the group, he wants to leave?

" Then what should we tell the fans? We can't leave them without any information." the boss says worriedly.

"I don't know.....just say personal reasons or something. It doesn't matter." Sunoo says.

"Sunoo are you sure you want to do this? What about your band members? Did you tell them about this?" the boss asks.

"No, I didn't tell them about it. And you can't either. And yes, I'm sure I want to leave." Sunoo says pushing back tears. Ofcoures he doesn't want to leave the group. But right now he doesn't have any other choice.

"What if they ask me about it, what should I tell them?" the boss asks.

"Just tell them that you don't know either." Sunoo says.

"Okay Sunoo. If you want to do it then I can't stop you." the boss says sadly. A group loosing a member is a big deal.

"When can I leave?" Sunoo asks.

"Beacouse you're not planing an album anytime soon then you can basicly leave whenever you want."the boss says.

"Okay then I'll leave tomorow night." Sunoo says.

"Okay Sunoo. You will be missed. Goodbye." the boss says as he stands up.

Sunoo also stands up. "Thank you for everything you've done for me until now. Goodbye." Sunoo says as he bows and leaves the office.

He runs through the hallway and into the elevator. He pushes the button and the door of the elevator closes. Sunoo avoids the mirror on the wall. He hates to see himself in a bad condition.

When the elevator arrives he runs out and goes through the entrance door. Sunoo runs and runs until he reaches the Han river.

He stops at the bridge. He's panting like crazy. He sits down on the ground as he starts crying.

                                                                                                                                                Sunoo's POV

I'm now siting on the ground panting, shaking and crying.

My mind can't calm down.

Why did I say I want to leave?

I love being an idol. I love it so much.

But sadly people don't love me.

That jerk. That stupid jerk.

Why can't he tell me the reason? Why?

He knows very well that I might do something realy stupid becouse of that, and still, he does nothing.

I'm realy disappointed in you Sunghoon. I realy am.

After a while I calm down a bit. I get up from the ground and walk towards the railing.

I look at how calmly the water flows and how the shining of the stars reflects on the water.

Such a beatiful night. It's a pity that it isn't beautiful for me.

I won't jump yet. Not today. Even though I want to give up I still need to stand for a bit.

I look up at the stars. Such a clear view. " It's beautiful." I say.

After staring at the sky for a while I go sit on the bench near by. I take out my phone and shed another tear. Why?

It's my wallpaper. Our group picture with all of the members. Our debut picture.

I look so happy on the picture. Where is that smile now?

I never knew that all of my hard work would end like this.

I look at my unread mesages. "Heeseung sent you a mesage".

I open the mesage. "Where are you? Are you okay?" it says.

"Yes I'm okay. Just went out for a while, it's a nice and calm night today." I reply.

Curently it's 11:30pm. When I see the time I panic a bit. I get up and walk to our dorm.

At the dorm

"Hi. I'm home." I say.

The others just finished watching the movie.

"Thank god you're home. I was geting worried." Heeseung says.

I smile at him. Heeseung was always so nice to me. It will definitely hurt leaving him behind.

I look around the room and see Sunghoon. He's just siting there. He didn't even look at me when I came home.

I guess he realy doesn't care about me anymore.

"I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight." I say.

"Night." the others say to me.

While I'm closing the door to my room I over hear them talking.......
