30. Finally Home

Sunoo loads his stuff into the trunk of Sunghoons car whike Sunghoon starts the car. Sunoo sits into the passenger seat and the car finally starts moving. He looks out the window, saying goodbye with his eyes to the place.

Sunghoon shoots a glance at Sunoo. He's so happy that Sunoo's going home but also....sad? This time that he spent alone with Sunoo felt weirdly comforting even though it was also really hard emotionally for both of them.

The drive back to Seoul is around 3 hours. At first they both sit in silence but that's until Sunghoon turns on the radio.
On the radio the song 'Given-Taken' is playing, their debut song...

Sunoo imidiately recognises the song. He glances at Sunghoon before resting his head on the window. "We did good with this song." Sunoo says sudenly.

Sunghoon looks at Sunoo for sec before turning back to the road. "Yea we did. Feels like it was yesterday when we were so exited to debut." Sunghoon says.

Sunoo nods as he continues looking out the window, nostalgia flooding him.

They're only 15 minutes away from their dorm now. Sunoo is looking out the window, at the city around him. He's exited but also really nervous about tge others reaction to him coming home. They don't know about any of this.

Those 15 minutes pass by and they finally arived. They both leave the car.
Sunghoon helps Sunoo with his bags as they walk into the building and to the elevator. Sunghoon can clearly see how nervous Sunoo is. He can't blame his though since he was gone for around 2 weeks.

They arive at their floor and walk over to their apartment door.

"You can do this." Sunghoon says as he sees Sunoo hesitating.

Sunoo takes a deep breath and finally pushes the door open. He slowly walks inside and sees the 5 pairs of eyes looking at the door from the living room couch.

They all freeze while Sunghoon is standing behind Sunoo.

"Sunoo?" Jungwon speaks up first,his eyes wide.

"Hi guys...."  Sunoo says. Sudenly he feels even more guilty than before.

Ni-ki gets up from the couch and runs to hug Sunoo. "Omg it's really you." He says.

Sunoo drops his bag on the ground and hugs Ni-ki back. Slowly the others get up and join the hug.

"You have so much explaining to do." Jungwon says as he hugs Sunoo tightly.

When they all finally let go Sunoo goes to his room. He opens the door and looks around. He's actually really glad he's finally home. He has all his stuff here and also his members, his second family.

As shocked and curious the others are they decided to leave Sunoo alone fir a while so he can settle. Instead they found another target for questioning.

"How tf did you find him?" Jay asks Sunghoon. Their all siting on the couch looking at Sunghoon.

"I think I would be better for Sunoo to explain. I don't wanna fuck up anything again." Sunghoon says.

Jake looks at him confused, "Again? What do you mean an again?"

"I just...I fucked up in the past and I don't wanna do it again. I can't tell you more about it though, that's also up to Sunoo." Sunghoon says looking guilty.

They all look at each other in silence but let it go.

"Let's just be glad that he's home and that he's safe for now."  Heeseung says as he leans back against the couch.

Sunoo's POV

I'm currently unpacking my stuff. My head is full of thoughts about how I'm going to explain everything later. I plan on doing it at dinner tonight. I just hope they'll understand.

I go out of my room and to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror, finally seeing clearly the mess I am. I can't believe I walked around like this the whole time. I'm breaking out a bit and the circles under my eyes are definitely noticeable. My roots are super grown out. I need to dye my hair soon.

I go back to my room and lie down on my bed. I just stare at the ceeling like always.

I just hope that they don't hate me...

Finally an update. Yayy. The 3 readers that actually wait for these updates are probably cheering rn. I wish I could update more often. I need to start studying for the entrance tests so I can get into High school so I lowkey need to lock in cause I only have 5 months. Help me😭 Also I need song recommendations for this storyyy
