Chapter 9: a place called school

KATNISS POV:

My alarm clock goes off.

Grrrrrrr....

Finnick gave his old phone to me last night. He spent a while showing me how to use it. It was so hard to get used to. He said it was a Blackberries. Or Blackberry. Or raspberry. I can't remember.

He had set an alarm on it. And I have no idea how to turn it off. And when it's ringing loudly and you want to scream there is only one thing to do. I pick it up and throw it at the wall.

Silence.

Then it's starts ringing again. I drag myself out of bed and pick it up. Using my nails I remove the batteries.

Somehow the morning is now here and it's Monday. First day at my new school.

Yay.

I don't actually know if I am being sarcastic. I have a shower then dress in a baggy jumper and shorts. I then quietly leave the house and walk over the road to Annie's house.

What ever I decide to wear to school she is gonna change so I might as well not even try.

I knock on the door. She answers after a while. She has dots of makeup everywhere on her face.
"I was half way through doing my make up... What are you wearing?" She says once she sees me.

"Now I thought about an outfit but I knew that you would change it...." I say. She pulls me indoors.
"Your probably right." She admits. We walk upstairs. Then up another flight of stairs.

Her third floor is full of shoes, clothes, bags and makeup.

Annie runs over to her makeup table and rubs all her foundation in before she starts rummaging through her clothes.

She picks out and white crop top that says 'Fluent in Sarcasm' on it and back stinky jeans. She then matches it with a red and blue checkered funnel and back combat boots.
"For you." She points to all the clothes she picked out.

Annie then leads me down a flight of states to a room with rose gold walls and cre carpets.
"This is your room." She says.
"I already have a room." I joke.

Annie explains that at each of there houses they all have a room for each-other. So when they crash at eachother houses they don't have to worry about clothes and sleeping arrangements and stuff.

Personally I think it's weird because they live across the street from eachother.

Anyways....

I walk into my room and go around the double bed. Annie closes the door as I wonder into my bathroom.

It's red and cream themed with a shower instead of a bath. Thank god- I'm not a bath person. It has to be a shower.

I quickly get dress as I know Annie will be waiting for me.
I put everything on and wrap the funnel around my waist.

I walk past the massive window (that leads to a small balcony) and over to the mirror.

Pulling at my hair, I finally get the band out and run my hands through my hair once the plait is finally untangled I turn around and smile.

This room is so nice.

I walk past the window and see movement out the corner of my eye.

Maybe I'm just paranoid. I remove the transparent curtain- mesh- net- thingy so I can twist the latch. The window swings open and opposite is Peeta window. And though his window he is looking at me.
