Chapter 13: No Title Needed

KATNISS POV:

A lot of people hate school. I can understand why. School is seriously annoying. But it's something you have to do.

I have learned a way to make school more enjoyable. It's pretty easy. Because if you sit there and think about how bad the lesson is. Or stare at the clock all the time, you are focusing on all the things that are bad.
Why do that?

If you look around you and list there things you're thankful for and appreciate what you have and who you are with your gonna be so focused on that, time will just pass by.

I learnt this from Tyler who is always so happy now. He told me all of this at break on Thursday. That was after we all had to go somewhere private because everyone kept trying to get Peetas autograph. His concert on Wednesday night was amazing. It was in a small hall and there was only around 100 - 250 people there. His new song was such a hit as well.

His concert wasn't like his last. There wasn't loads of security. There wasn't loads of paparazzi.

It's now Friday...

ANNIE POV:

The last days have been a blur. Tyler's attitude recently has had an impact on the group.

Everyone's somehow happier. There's less stress.

It's nicer. I find that we are laughing a lot more as well.

We currently have Cara over for dinner. Our dinner consists of Pizza, cream soda and cookies.

Cara is a great girl as she makes my brother happy. The whole evening Finnick kept staring at me wondering when I was gonna give the Protective Sister Speech. But I don't have a problem with him dating people. The whole Protective Sister thing is just a joke. I think. I hope.

Cara is about to leave when Katniss tells her to stay for a bit longer. I was speechless as Katniss is not a People's Person. (Basically she doesn't like a lot of people- hope that makes sense)

Tyler and Finnick start playing Call Of Duty. And Peeta is making more cookies and katniss is in the kitchen to but she's making a music playlist on her phone. I sit behind the boys while they are playing and me and Cara start an interesting convocation about boys.
"There not social. At all." I laugh.
"We are!" Finnick says defensively.
"You so aren't!" Cara argues.
"We are social! Just we would rather spend time eating food!" Tyler adds. Cara starts laughing.
"Yeah." Finnick and Tyler high five.
"Finnick, if I wasn't, like, your best friend you'd be married to Peetas cookies." I say. Finnick shakes his head.
"That is kinda true." Tyler mutters. He Then gets pushed off the sofa.

Cara grabs the remote and starts playing.
"And we have ourselves a gamer Girl." Katniss yells from the kitchen. Then music starts playing throughout the house and her and Peeta walk in with cookies.
"Speak for yourself." Peeta says.

Katniss is better at Call Of Duty then Tyler and Finnick put together. But she has never beaten Tyler, Finnick and Peeta.

We end up all grabbing remotes and joining in. Cara soon gives up as she's died to many times in the game. She takes 2 cookies and eats one herself then puts the other in Tyler's mouth because he's that lazy. And he's in the middle of a very intense shooting match with Katniss.

"And no one does that for me." Finnick jokes.
Peeta coughs. "Don't even get me started on you." Finnick adds.

Well it's true Peeta hasn't had a girlfriend in 2 years. And it's not like he wants one. I mean he only has eyes for one girl... And their name might begin with a K...
