jane paced back and forth in the villa's kitchen, her phone clenched tightly in her hand. She had spent a long time thinking about how to make the moment special when she shared the news with the Station 19 crew. They had become a second family to her and Andrea, and she wanted them to find out about her pregnancy in a way that would be unforgettable.

Finally, she took a deep breath and called Carina.
"Hi, Jane," Carina answered in her usual gentle tone.
"Hi, Carina. I need a favor," Jane said, trying to keep the emotion out of her voice.
"Tell me everything," Carina replied, intrigued.
"I want to surprise the station. I want them to know about my pregnancy, but in a special way. I was thinking... could you do an ultrasound and print out the images? I could use them for the reveal."
Carina chuckled softly on the other end of the line. "That's a beautiful idea, Jane. But there's a condition, isn't there?"
"Yes," Jane admitted. "You have to promise not to say anything to anyone, not even to Maya. I want it to be a surprise for everyone."
Carina was silent for a moment, then replied, "Alright. I promise. But we'll need to be discreet. Come to the hospital early tomorrow morning, when it's not too busy."
"Thank you, Carina," Jane said, relieved. "It means a lot to me."

The next morning, Jane arrived at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital at dawn. Carina was already waiting for her in a private room.
"Well, are you ready to see your little one?" Carina asked, welcoming her with a smile.
Jane nodded, a mix of anxiety and excitement. She lay down on the exam table, and Carina began the ultrasound. When the image of the baby appeared on the monitor, Jane was speechless.
"There it is," Carina said, pointing to the tiny beating heart.
Jane covered her mouth with her hand, tears in her eyes. "It's so real... so incredible."
Carina printed a few images and handed them to Jane. "Here, ready for your surprise."

That evening, Jane arrived at Station 19 with a small gift box. Inside, she had placed the ultrasound images along with a note that read: "We're getting a new team member!"
As she approached the door, she heard the familiar voices and laughter of the crew echoing in the air. With a nervous smile, she stepped inside and found everyone gathered in the common room.
"Jane! What are you doing here?" Andy asked, surprised to see her.
"I have something for you," Jane said, placing the gift box on the table.
The team gathered around, curious. Maya was the first to open the box and pull out the images. There was a moment of silence, then an explosion of reactions.
"An ultrasound?" Vic asked, wide-eyed.
"You're pregnant?" Jack exclaimed in disbelief.
Jane nodded, her cheeks flushing but her smile radiant. "Yes. And I wanted you all to be the first to know."
The room filled with cheers and congratulations. Carina, who had quietly joined the scene, watched from afar with a knowing smile. Maya eyed her suspiciously. "You knew, didn't you?"
Carina raised her hands in surrender. "She made me promise not to say anything!"
Maya shook her head, laughing. "Anyway, congratulations, Jane. This baby is going to be the most spoiled in the city, I guarantee it."
Jane looked around, finally feeling complete. Despite the challenges, she knew she had an extraordinary family that would support her every step of the way.

The Station 19 common room was buzzing with excitement. Jane's ultrasound images were being passed around, accompanied by smiles and heartfelt congratulations. But amidst the chaos, Maya Bishop had slipped away, seeking a quiet corner.

When Jane noticed Maya's absence, a hint of concern crossed her face. It was unusual for Maya not to be at the center of attention during moments like these. She decided to look for her and found her sitting on the stairs leading to the upper floor, her face buried in her hands.
"Maya?" Jane asked gently as she approached.
Maya looked up, and Jane saw the tears streaking her face. "Sorry," Maya said, trying to wipe her face with the back of her hand. "I didn't mean to ruin the moment."
"You're not ruining anything," Jane replied, kneeling beside her. "What's wrong?"
Maya shook her head, struggling to find the words. "It's just... I'm so happy for you. And at the same time, I think about everything you've been through. How strong you are."
Her words hit Jane deeply. "Maya, you've been one of the people who helped me the most. Without you and Carina, I don't know if I'd have made it this far."
Maya smiled, though the tears kept falling. Without thinking twice, Jane leaned forward and hugged her. Maya held her tightly, as if trying to convey all her affection in that moment.

Then, in a spontaneous gesture, Maya stood and effortlessly lifted Jane in her arms. "You're one of the most incredible people I know," she said, her voice still thick with emotion.
"Maya! You don't have to do that I'm pregnant!" Jane protested, laughing, but her laughter was full of warmth.
"That's right, you're pregnant. And I'll do anything for you and this baby," Maya said with determination, carrying her back into the common room.

When they returned, the crew greeted them with another wave of enthusiasm. Vic raised an eyebrow. "Maya, why are you carrying Jane? Isn't the pregnancy news enough spoiling?"
"I'm just doing my job as an aunt," Maya replied with a grin, gently setting Jane down on a chair.

That evening, amidst laughter and hugs, Jane realized that not only would her child have an amazing family, but she herself was surrounded by people who would do anything for her.
