Sonny sat on the couch; her legs crossed like a kindergartener as Jake sat on the floor.
He stared at the TV as Sonny kept her hands in his hair before placing her hands on his cheeks, making him look up.
"Why can I feel you if you're a ghost?" He asked making her chuckle.
"You're asking me things I don't know again." She whispered as she placed a kiss on his forehead. "I still don't know how any of this happened."
He looked into her eyes, a small smile on his lips.
Sonny was already starting to feel her strength faltering; she knew that it was almost time for her to go.
How she ended up being with Jake and not fully dead was still not clear. All she knew was that Jake was struggling, and she somehow got to talk to him and be next to him in his path of recovery.
"I think that... everything happened, because we're meant to be together forever." Jake whispered. "You're meant to be by my side, and I'm meant to be by yours."
Sonny stared at him in thought before placing a kiss on his forehead. "I love you, Jake."
"I love you, Sonny."
She caressed his cheeks before placing another kiss on his forehead, making him smile as he placed his hands on hers.

Heeseung opened the front door, taking off his shoes at the door.
He sniffled softly before closing his eyes for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts from the cold outside.
He shook a little as he blew gently on his hands.
"What the hell it was warm this morning. Why is it cold now?" He complained in a whisper as he stepped into the apartment. "Jake! Where are you? I brought us dinner!"
The lights were turned off, making him squint to see if Jake was laying on the bed, but he spotted it empty.
He looked towards the kitchen, placing the takeout bag on the table.
Heeseung walked towards the light switch, turning the lights on.
His eyes fell on Jake's keys that were still on the counter.
"Okay... so he is home and he's just ignoring me like always. Jake, it's pasta from Georgio's... It was expensive, I spent a lot of money, be grateful that I'm such an amazing roommate." He sang out as he looked towards the half-closed bathroom door.
He stared at the door for another few seconds before furrowing his eyebrows and walking over.
He gently pushed it open, stepping inside. "Jake?"
He felt water underneath his feet, and he quickly moved towards the tub that was covered by the shower curtain.
He pushed the curtain open as quickly as he could.
"Jake!" He let out a yell as he grabbed onto Jake's shirt pulling him out of the water.
He grasped onto him with all his strength as he pulled him out of the tub, making water drop all over the floor from Jake's drenched clothes.
Heeseung tapped Jake's cheek desperately, his hands shaking and tears reaching his eyes again.
"Jake. No, Jake." He sobbed in fear as he shook Jake's limp body.
He pulled his phone out of his pocket, calling an ambulance.
"911, what's your emergency?"
