Heeseung stared at Jake in concern as he gently placed his head against the table, letting him lay against it.

He still hadn't woken up after speaking about cement and it had been about five minutes.

Heeseung didn't know what to do, so he just sat there, waiting for him to say something else, but there was nothing.

He stood from his seat, deciding to leave Jake alone for another few minutes. He knew that he wasn't going to be out of those moments with Sonny anytime soon.

As he walked out of the apartment, his eyebrows were a little furrowed.

He was worried about Jake. It seems like he lasts longer and longer in those memories, and that alone made the doctor suggest in-patient treatment.

Heeseung was told to let the doctor know if Jake was to have any other moment like the one in the kitchen, but Heeseung didn't want to tell on Jake, at least not until they found Sonny's killer.

He gently closed the door behind him and started walking down the hallway, stopping in his tracks at the sight of the landlord coming up the steps.

Heeseung debated in his head for a bit before lifting his head to talk to him. "Excuse me?"

"Yes?" The landlord asked as he stopped midway up the steps.

"I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Sonny's ex-boyfriend, Heeseung." He introduced himself as he walked down the steps to meet him in the middle, extending his hand for a handshake. "I don't think we ever met formally."

"Oh yes, I remember seeing you before."

"Yes... I'm staying with Jake from now on. I'm sure you're aware of his condition, right?" Heeseung said softly, making the landlord nod his head, a glint of sadness in his eyes. "Thank you for not mentioning anything about him knowing Sonny."

"I knew that it wouldn't be good to mention Ms. Lane to him, since he seemed like he didn't know what I was talking about when I asked him if he was okay with moving in after what happened there. So, I opted on keeping my mouth shut."

"Thank you again... I have a question, if that's alright... Actually, a couple of questions." Heeseung said as he leaned against the wall.

"Yes, that's alright. Ask away." The landlord spoke calmly, although his eyes were a little restless.

"Sonny had told me before about cement in the apartment. Do you know anything about that?"

"I do actually."

{+}{+}{+}{+}{+}{+}{+}{+}{+}{+}

Heeseung walked into the apartment again, his pace fast and excited.

He spotted Jake still laying against the table, but his eyes were open this time.

Heeseung's eyebrows furrowed as he slowly walked towards Jake, staring at him in worry.

"Jake?" He called out gently, but Jake didn't respond to him.

Heeseung leaned a little closer, getting a glimpse of a tear falling over Jake's nose as he stared ahead.

"Is Sonny here, Jake?"

Jake finally looked at Heeseung, his eyes still filled with tears.

He was out of it again. His gaze was tired as their eyes met and Heeseung couldn't help but feel bad for him.

"Sonny, doesn't go away anymore. She's always here." Jake responded in a whisper, almost exasperated. "She doesn't go away."

"Is that a bad thing?"
