Jake sat near the big window at his apartment looking at his notepad.

He finally had a day off, but he was truly going to investigate.

There were so many people that could have been there at that bar on January 25th and any of them could have interacted with Sonny in a good or a bad way.

All he knew was that Sonny was drunk off her toes that night, and if she was there on her own anything could have happened.

"I wish I could come with you."

"To the bar?"

Sonny nodded her head as she sat next to him in the same pajamas and messy hair as before.

"Do you know that place?"

"No. I don't remember ever being there." She said softly as she looked over his shoulder at his notes. "Heeseung and I broke up nine months before my death?"

"That's what he said. He said you were having a rough patch, but he didn't want to tell me why you broke up." Jake explained as he looked at her. "You really don't remember anything? Maybe what happened in those nine months after you broke up caused your death. The person could be connected to those months of your life."

She shook her head apologetically, and he looked down at his notes. A circled word made him raise his eyebrows.

"Revenge. You said you'd take revenge. Maybe that's why you stayed with him, Sonny." He said softly, wondering what she could have done. "You said you'd cheat back."

"I did? I would never do something like that." Sonny said, horrified as she shook her head.

"Well, you said you would, and no one knows what heartbreak can lead you to." Jake explained, making Sonny look down at her pajama covered hands.

She nodded her head in agreement with him, and gave him a small smile. "Thank you for helping me, Jake."

He only looked through his notes again, thinking of the questions to ask once he gets to the bar.

He sat down on the same seat he had before at the empty bar and gestured for the bartender to get closer.

"Would you like a drink sir?"

Jake contemplated, before nodding his head.

"Just water for now. Do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions? I'm not a cop or anything I'm just a really curious citizen." He said cheekily, making the bartender chuckle as he served his water and placed it in front of him.

"Shoot your questions."

"I'm new in town, so I don't know much about that girl. You know... that girl?"

"Sonny?" The bartender asked with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Mhm. I moved into her apartment, without knowing that's where she passed, and I keep getting questions about her as if I knew her, so I'm curious to actually know about her, you get what I mean?"

The bartended wiped a glass as he stared at Jake, wondering why such questions were coming out of his mouth.

"What do you want to know?"

"I know she used to frequent this place a lot, right?" He asked carefully, and the bartender nodded his head. "Did she always come here alone?"

"She'd come here alone, a lot of the time."

"Always?"

The bartender looked at Jake in confusion, making Jake wonder why he was looking at him that way.
