"Are you done?" Veeransh asked without lifting his head from the notebook.

I looked at the answer i obtained by solving this lengthy math equation and the actual answer given at the end of the textbook. It doesn't match. Could this answer booklet be wrong?

Veeransh clicks his fingers in front of me. I forwarded my notebook to him. He took it and started checking it from the start.

He clicked his tongue, "You did addition wrong here" I peeked into my notebook from my seat.

"Don't make silly mistakes, your performance in the next test is important to me too. If you don't perform well, they won't let me sit in the exams, Maheer."

"You know my name?" I asked shocked.

"This is the only thing that caught your attention?" He deadpans.

"I mean," I try to look for some excuse. He put his elbow on the table to support his face and looked at me, waiting for me to finish, making me nervous.

Shaking his head he put his finger on the name slip on my notebook, where my name is written. My cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

"Look here" I looked at him, why not? When he himself was asking me.

"Look at the notebook, not at my face," He spoke in a stern voice.

I diverted my gaze towards the notebook.

"Now, this is a little difficult from the previous one, so concentrate." Saying this he started explaining. I listened to him carefully.

And by the end of the class, i understood how calmly he was teaching me. If we ignore some instances. I didn't understand one of the concepts, so i hesitatingly asked him again and to my surprise, he did it without getting annoyed.

He only gets annoys when i get distracted by him and his looks. He asked me to practice everything he taught me at home so that i don't forget things in future.

As said by Atharyu Bhai, the car was already waiting for me. I was exhausted and slept in the car on my way home.

I lazily got down from the car. I received a call from Rudra Bhai that he is going to pick me up from home today because i still have to choose the dress for the engagement, and then he is taking me to the arcade.

All my exhaustion vanished in thin air. Asking one of the house help to send my lunch to my room. I quickly stride towards my room to get fresh.

Rudra Bhai messaged me that he would be here in five minutes. I ran out of my room, closing the door properly.

My marathon stopped listening to Kabeer, "Where are you off to?" He asked in confusion.

"I am going out with Rudra Bhai," I chimed grinning.

"Why?" He scowled.

"What do you mean, why?" I asked with equal irritation.

Narrowing eyes at me he thinks for a second. He grabbed my hand and started walking.
