The illegitimate daughter of a powerful businessman, she was sent to live with her six half-brothers after her father's sudden death.
The boys were born from privilege, pride, and perfectly manicured bloodlines. No one welcomed her. No one cared.

"Here goes my mathematics textbook" I packed my bag. Atharyu Bhai sent me the school supplies that I needed for my new school tomorrow.
My attention shifted to the unpacked gift of Kabeer, which he asked me to open later.
"What could be inside it." I picked it in my hand and carefully unwrapped it.
I gasped, "I thought I would never find you again." I grinned ear to ear seeing my mother's photo which was newly framed.
"This is the best gift" I placed it on the nightstand beside my bed.
This is the only photograph I have of my mother and my anchor to life.
I have to thank Kabeer for this. Though he is the reason I lost it in the first place.
Shaking my head I walked towards the kitchen because I had to cook for the next brother. Earlier, I was confused about for whom to cook.
But Kabeer Bhai's gift made it easy for me to choose.
I asked Gopal Kaka about Kabeer's favourite food. He cleared his throat, took out a slip from his pocket and handed it to me.
I looked at him with confused eyes and took it.
Opening the slip I started reading what was written in it.
"Paneer butter Masala, Garlic Naan, Dal Makhni, Dum Aloo, Gazar Hawla, Muffins...." I stopped in the middle of the list.
"What is it?"
"Kabeer Sir asked me to give you this list on the day you decide to cook for him. Everything in it, is his favourite and he wants you to make all of it."
I again glanced at the list and it went on and on. But I can cook all of it. It will take time but I can.
Gopal Kaka looked at me with sympathy but I blinked my eyes assuring him that it was okay.
And actually, I had no problem. I immediately started cooking.
It was almost dinner time when I was done. I quickly ran towards my room to get fresh after instructing the house help about serving the food.
Entering the dining room I saw my brothers were already there.
"Finally, you are here," Aarav said, letting others know about my presence.
I took my usual seat beside Atharyu Bhai. The food plate placed by the house help in front of Kabeer Bhai made everyone understand for whom I cooked.
When my eyes met Kabeer's, he smirked looking in my direction and lifted the lid.
"The food smells better when Gopal cooks it." He taunts.
I exactly know that he is trying to annoy me. But he doesn't know it is not that easy. Plus he gave me my mother's photo so I gave him a pass.
