'Monte's Pov'

My head whips to the door and I don't think before I let my shadows leave me and trap the people standing at the entrance of our room. I look closely and see it's Saint, Nala, and some of Saint's men, who all have full of Sabine and Oliver cumming with no care in the world. I groan but have no choice but to let them go, I have my shadows cover the pair and quickly get myself dressed. "Why exactly are you all busting into the room?" I said, "Someone came to warn us that Queen Asha has sent her guard, they are close, which means we need to move out soon." Saint said he tried to keep his eyes from looking at my shadow that blocked everyone's view of Sabine. Everyone else didn't even try to hide how much they wanted to see my mate. My mind snapped to attention at my word choice but instead of dwelling on it I focused on my bond with Sabine and let her know what was going on. There was a thread connecting me to Oliver, it wasn't as thick as Sabine's but it was thick enough that I was able to send messages to him as well, though I am sure they weren't words just feelings.

"Nala, could you find Layla and you both gather something comfortable for Sabine to travel in, as well as something for her to eat and drink," I said knowing she'd need something after what we'd just done. "Find Maeve and make sure she gathers everything else, she has Silver so don't sneak up on her, he is protective and he likes her," Oliver calls out. " Saint, we can go over the route and make sure we have enough weapons and supplies to last us till we get there," I said, he doesn't say anything just nods and ushers everyone else out of the room. I allow my shadow to drop and see Sabine sitting up the red hue from the window poured through the window, the color on her skin made my mouth water. Her breasts were on full display and her hair sat like a halo around her head, she screamed fucked and it made me want to wrap her up and hide her away.

"I don't know if I'll be able to function for long," She said, her smile making her whole face light up. Oliver had put on his pants and was kneeling at her side. "I'll tell you what, after Nala and Layla get you dressed and you eat something how about I carry you and you get some sleep. We'll handle everything else, it's nighttime time anyway and the eye isn't far from us by horse." Oliver said, her emotions were jumbled for a second like she was trying to figure out whether she needed to snap out of her pleasure daze or if she should allow us to take control.

I figured it out quickly after being intuned with her emotions, that though she doesn't want anyone to control her, she does want someone to protect and take care of her. I also realized that if I just let her choose what she wants to do then she has that control that she craves. When she nods I smile and walk over, sliding my hands under her arms I lift her up into my arms. "Don't stress love, we'll take care of this and you can rest," I said, I moved my hands so they were under her thighs. A knock sounds on the door and Oliver answers, Nala, Layla, and Maeve come into the room with Silver, clothes, and food. "We'll leave you to get cleaned up and eat. Let her soak in a bath for a few moments before she dresses, add some healing salts, and be gentle when you dress her." Oliver said, while they set up her bath I can't help but give her sweet kisses.

When I finally let her go I feel a slight ache in my chest but I don't speak about it and leave her with a quick kiss. Oliver and make our way down to a different room where Saint and his men were supposed to be staying. "We could make it to the port and then take a boat there. I have a friend who owns a boat and he owes me a favor." Saint said, "Can we trust this friend of yours? The council will have people everywhere looking for her." I said walking around the table. When I stand next to him I feel one of his men shift away from me. My eyes darted to him, he was taller than me and had a huge scar running from his eyebrow down to his lip. That wasn't what caught my eye, he had a tattoo on his neck, it was the tattoo of a shifter pack. "He is reliable, he is on the run from the council half of the time but he'd never work with them." Saint said, 'Well, if we leave out soon we could make it to the ship by morning." Oliver said, I nodded in agreement but kept my eye on the shifter.

"I found us some weapons, we'll need to keep them hidden until we get to the eye. I thought Oliver could do his thing and we could keep them hidden. My friend shuns weapons and I don't want any more problems." Saint said, "Alright that's perfect, let's move now." I move first happy to get back to Sabine, "I'm not a rogue if that's what you were thinking." The shifter from before said, "I don't care, as long as you know that if I find that you want to cause my mate harm I'll kill you without blinking." I said and walked out of the room upstairs to find my mate standing dripping wet in the middle of the room. "Aren't you a sweet treat," I said, she laughed and smiled at me. Nala handed her a towel and as she dried off I found myself a seat to watch her get ready. Nala's eyes tracked her, though she was trying her hardest not to Layla was watching too.

They helped her with her hair, putting it in a large ponytail, a few of her curls slipped out framing her face perfectly. They put her in a rigid gown, which came with flowing pants, and a thin flowing dress in a beautiful blue with gold trim, since it didn't get cold here most women who didn't live in the blaze kingdom wore flowing light clothes. When she is finished I scoop her in my arms, holding her bridal style she carries a sleeping Silver on her stomach. Even with him, her weight was nothing, "You both can get your things together and meet us out back by the stables." I said and took Sabine downstairs, she was asleep in seconds.

"Damn you sneaky bastard I wondered where you snuck off to," Oliver said, I chuckle. "You move too slow," I felt someone looking at me and turned to find Saint looking not at me but at Sabine asleep in my arms. "He is an idiot but It's his loss. She's attracted to him that's for sure, I felt it earlier when we were watching the show." He said, "If she wants him then she will make it known, just watch her for a while. She is the best type of book to read, if you watch she shows more and more." I said, Oliver bent down and kissed her lips lightly, which made her shift closer to him. He smiled and looked up at me, his blue eyes shined and his smile felt blinding at that moment. The memories of us together played in my mind making me painfully hard. "Tease," I grunted and turned to see the stable boys bringing us our carriage and some of Saint's men with horses.

I put her in the carriage placing some covers under her head and moving Silver so he sat in her arms comfortably. He cuddled into her stomach and went back to sleep, "Maeve, Nala, Layla, and I will sit in the carriage with Sabine and you all can ride around us," Oliver said, I rolled my eyes jokingly. "Make sure to keep a tight formation, you three watch our blind spots, Lyle, you, and Mark watch us from above. No questions? Then let's move out!" Saint said after I hopped on the horse a stable boy brought me and positioned me on the side of the carriage where the window sat we set off on our journey.
