The Underworld is being racked through by another Earthquake. Demons, trolls, giants, and vampires alike all look around as if they don't know what to do with this new scenario. My mind goes immediately to my old friends at my bar.
I walked by my old bar seeing Monty (my moth-man friend) serving the drinks. I waved at him and shouted his name, eager to reunite with my friend but he did not notice me or look in my direction. Neither did the usual patrons "Why can't they see me?" I asked.
That was when Billy aka Bigfoot walked right through my form like I wasn't even there. I was frozen in shock; it was like I no longer existed.
"You're dead," said a voice, turning out to be Spinela herself. "Your fight against the Big Man Upstairs seems to have failed. Kind of wish I could have a drink right now."
A shadowy Wyorm made its way across the walls, revealing it to be the muscled, exoskeleton-ripped version of my Great-Uncle Amair himself.
"What's ironic is that he looks lost in his own world," whispers Arkethia to Kathair.
Kathair, holding her, says, "You would be too if you wandered it as a ghost. How is Valhalla doing by the way?"
"To think all this time you all thought you could repress me to a small little corner," says Amair, looking thoughtful. He created a dark storm cloud around, and his Wyorm legs inspected me.
"You disappoint me," says Amair. "To think that you were sent to fight for free-will and now you fail us now."
A Death Angel is neither good nor evil. He fights for free will in place of the powerless. I was content at taking souls to the afterlife, but now staring at my mother's ethereal form, I felt myself struggle with indecision. Sure, the realm of Hell was closed, but if the Multiverse died - doesn't that mean I failed?
He pressed the front of his skeletal centipede body on my back and began to dig his legs down into my body in such a way as to make my mother throw herself at him. She was quickly knocked to the side however. Somehow, it was possible for me to feel pain, which gave me some hope that I wasn't completely dead.
"Why fight on the side of the Fallen Angels?" I exclaim. "Surely you knew that you wouldn't be able to make it right? You yourself said that the evil of this realm was nothing more than an illusion. Why fight a losing battle?"
"We didn't accept our fates as you so readily think we did," murmured Kathair. "We followed a very well orchestrated set of steps to make sure that free-will would get the chance to survive. To give everyone the chance, not just a select few individuals."
"What I didn't tell you," muttered Genesis, "Was that Amair was selfish. He always had the concern of his own realm in mind, not the wellbeing of others. It was only by nearly losing his life did he figured out what he should've done instead."

Amair Tells His Story
In the olden days, before the fallen-angel rebellion, everyone had free will. After, when the Prince of Darkness "aka Lucifer" had fallen from the heavens, God still allowed angels to leave heaven to have their own freedoms. They were allowed to be archetypes - aka intermediaries, between humans and Gods.
The same ways that others pray to Saints before praying to God, so too did the Gods and Goddesses become the pre-world upon which humans could find their divinity. While we were given dominions of our own realms and allowed to start the beginnings of the Multiverse, the Gods and Goddesses ended up constructing their own worship on Earth creating all kinds of scandal.
The Guardians orchestrated the seven realms so that everyone could find their own path to divinity. The conflict between the Time Guardian and the Guardians made it so that we would not know of each other's half. That is why so many of us were raised by ourselves. Genesis is not only my niece, she is also my daughter, as my brother is equally as much a part of me as I am a part of him.
