Chapter 49 - Leo

It's nothing but pure peace to be back in the state of Wyoming. Wind passes gently through the trees as I breathe in the beautiful scent of the countryside, feeling myself be overtaken by the nature that surrounded me.

Finally, I was back at work. It felt good to be surrounded by my coworkers, and some new oncomers that were here too. Sarah and Karen were the mother figures that I had in my home away from home, and the two of them were happy to see me again. Todd and Sam, my old friends, were laughing quite humorously at the fact of who I was soon to be married to. I couldn't blame them.

It was slightly chaotic - the readjustment of the universe that we had all worked so hard to be able to do. It was not really the most peaceful of environments. I guess I should've expected that and had been the voice of reason in my group. Oh well, I instead allowed a runaway train to happen to save Jasper's friends.

First off, dinosaurs started to show up all around the globe. They had been quite popular in Owok's timeline within his version of Earth, and quite naturally they ended up populated the woods and mountains that surrounded us. Many had to be euthanized because you don't want a velociraptor, for example, bothering one of the parks where people are walking through every single day. They did end up there though - causing a variety of environmental advocates to want to fight on behalf of the dinosaur.

I can understand as a park ranger the concern that people had for the dinosaurs. Similar to the many bear encounters we have had in the parks year after year, many felt that it was the responsibility of patrons to the park to exercise safety around the dinosaurs. Others, individuals who had already come to the park in years past, expressed that it is much different dealing with a dinosaur than dealing with a bear, and that it isn't realistic to expect that level of precaution from a person who is from New York City for example.

There were other realities to concern ourselves with too - such as the flying phoenix birds that seemed to appear in the sky every so often. I was informed by everyone else that the Guardian Arkethia, may she rest in peace, had created copies of herself during the 1st war between Guardians and Wizards back in Miami years ago. Of course, none of these phoenix birds were as capable as the real Arkethia, but they still flew around demanding that passersby who did not know any better would worship them.

Then there were the trucks. Famous in the Kingdom of Singapore, the trucks had been programmed by the Evil Arkethia to find any self-actualized, suspecting wizards. They had originally been confused as a terrorist organization, but people were able to see that this was not the case when the Monarchs arrived.

The Monarchs, from the Kingdoms of Singapore, Tartaria, China, and America respectively had felt as if they had the right to rule. How do you take world leaders in their own right that have knowledge of global affairs and political customs, then tell them that their kingdoms don't actually exist in this reality? The consequence was a geopolitical conflict that ultimately led everyone feeling confused. These monarchs, like Queen Cleodora, were one on one in espionage and political conflicts to interested interviewers. The consequence was that many on the internet felt as if these Monarchs knew more than their political leaders. Some of them, such as Princess Adriane of Tartaria, had decidedly run for political office.

Ozara had her just-desserts when it came to the MariCorp situation. An insider in one of the major ports in China was able to pin-point the trafficking situation, being able to see that there were so many that were being moved from one place to the next. It turned out that there was quite a scandalous cloning situation in the other realities as well, and soon all the clones were being evacuated from the ships. An investigation was being made underway beyond any scope and sequence of previous schemes, with many organizations and elite persons that were involved under this secretive umbrella.
