INTERVIEW

Wearing an old navy top partnered with its old navy shorts too. Si Gi naman ay suot ang adidas na gym outfit n'ya.

After I graduated college, I still work as a Nurse. Natatawa na nga lang ako dahil sa mga nakaraan ko, mga paghihirap na dinanas ko sa head doctor at kay Veron.

Ang akala ko'y kapag ga-graduate na ako sa engineering ay makakapag resign na ako, hindi pa pala!

For almost four years, almost four years…hindi madali ang pamumuhay, hindi lahat ng nababasa mo sa libro ay totoo! Walang madali sa totoong buhay!

Walang cinderella sa totoo buhay! Kung meron man ay doon lang sa parteng inaapi s'ya.

“Wow, sarap mo naman,” Gi jested as she touched my butt! Siraulo!

We're here at ‘work in, work out’ dahil simula nung natapos akong mag-aral, inaaya na ako ni Gi mag gym.

I looked at my body in the whole body mirror inside the gym, I stood firm, my shoulders were broader than before, veins tracing my strong arms, not so awkward to look at.

My old navy top hugged my body so well that even though I am wearing it, my abs were still visible, my chest is just perfect, not so broad, but not skinny as before.

Ang katawan ko noon ay parang babae kaya palagi akong napagkakamalang babae!

Well…

“Fuck you, bitch,” I replied, causing her to burst her laughter out.

“Bring it on, Alvarez.” She rode on.

We're so close to the point that that kind of jokes are normal for us. But even though we're that level of closeness, we still know our boundaries.

Twice a week kaming nag gy-gym ni Gi, pang limang buwan na ngayon kasi limang buwan pa ang nakalipas noong nag graduate ako, doon palang ako nagkaroon ng free time para mag gym, patayan din kasi talaga ang engineering.

“Duty ka karun?” She asked.

(Duty ka ngayon?)

“Ikaw?” I replied, asking too.

“Sigi na lang” she replied, wiping her forehead's sweat.

“Sigi na lang din” I said, heading to the men's locker.

Small isn't my size anymore, dati pag nagsusuot ako ng medium, parang oversized ito sa akin, ngayon ay yumayakap na sa katawan ko ang size M!

Still nike, my fav brand, white and clean, size L, and gray nike joggers.

I went out of the gym and waited for Gi to come out from the women's locker.

Lagi kaming napagkakamalang mag jowa dahil sa palagi kaming mag kasama, pero alam naman naming dalawa na hindi namin gusto ang isa't isa.

Meron na akong social media account ngayon, private nga lang at iba na ang username.

I'm not a fan of facebook so I just have an Instagram account.

Kilala ko lahat ng followers ko, mga kasamahan kong nurses, yung iba ay doctor at ang pamilyang Santos.

“I'll drive” sabi ko kay Gi, sasakyan n'ya kasi gamit namin.

“Kay kinsa?” She maliciously asked.

(Kanino?)

“Boang,” I muttered, catching the car key she tossed my way with ease.

“McDo, drive thru,” she said, tarantado lang.
