DREAM
Nagising ako sa init ng sikat ng araw. Narinig kong tumunog ang toaster kaya napabaling ako sa kusina.
“You slept on the sofa again.” He said while taking the bread out of the toaster.
He placed it on the table. The table had some scrambled egg, luncheon meat, and the bread that he toasted. He prepared two glasses of milk as well.
Wait, was it really a dream?
“Umuwi ka ba kagabi?” I asked him, nearing the table, I smelled the aroma of the freshly toasted bread as I sat in the chair in front of him.
“Yeah. I didn't bother to wake you up. You look tired.” He simply said as he picked some toasted bread and put it on his plate, he took some scrambled egg as well.
“Uhmm…wala bang nangyari kagabi?” He kissed me right?
“Such as?” Tangina panaginip talaga!
“Wala…wala, anong oras ka nakauwi?” I changed the topic cause judging from his gaze, he seems suspecting me!
“I'm in the OR for hours, umaga na akong nakauwi. 3:40, Why?” He's now munching, waiting for my response.
I shrugged “Wala naman, I just thought you wouldn't come home.”
“This is my condo unit too. Where do you think I should stay after my duty?” He logically asked. Right. This is his condo too. Alangan naman.
“Anyway, It's my day off. We ran out of groceries. Let's hit the grocery store.” He said, drinking his milk now. I just noticed he didn't drink coffee, eh nung una ko s'yang nakita sa hospital, kape ba iyong hawak n'ya?
“I, I have something to do today.” Sabi ko para lang makatakas sa kanya
“Okay. Do you need something? Jot it down. I'll just shower. I'll leave afterwards.” He casually said then he washed his plate and glass and placed them in the dishes container.
I can't think straight kasi ang nasa isip ko ay yung nangyari kagabi. It was a dream, really? Parang hindi kasi, pero sa sofa ako nakatulog! Hindi sa kwarto! Panaginip lang talaga iyon.
At bakit naman daw ako hahalikan ni Klyde? Hell no! Kung anu-ano na lang ang napapanaginipan ko.
May pasok ako mamaya, pero ngayong umaga wala akong gagawin, pupunta na lang siguro ako sa bahay.
I sat on the sofa while checking something in my online marketplace. I'm looking for a gift since December is approaching.
His door opened and he went out wearing his casual clothes, simple black shorts, plain black t-shirt, with his wet and messy hair, he looks effortlessly handsome.
Shut it, Sid. Stop noticing simple things in him!
I saw how his calf moved because his shorts are above his knees only, though it's not that broad, but when it moves, it makes him more manly.
He always wore shorts naman kapag nandito lang s'ya sa bahay, but I don't know why it gave me an unexplainable impact after that damn dream!
Lahat ng galaw n'ya ay kakaiba na para sa akin! Kahit ang pag abot n'ya sa car key n'yang nakasabit sa key holder, ang nakikita ko ay kung paano nag flex ang tricep n'ya kasi nakatalikod s'ya sa akin!
Damn hot, Adamnelle. Sayang…
Siguro nanibago lang ako kasi wala naman akong pwedeng mapansin bukod sa mga kaklase ko, s'ya lang talaga ang nakikita ko!
Sabi naman ni Jayson na baka gender-fluid person ako dahil ngayon ko pa lang ito nararamdaman. Hindi kagaya n'ya na nung una pa, bi na talaga s'ya.
Focus, Sid. Forget that feeling! Forget that you once liked a person whose gender is the same as yours! That's insane.
