Pixal looked up at the sound of footsteps, spotting Cole sitting beside her. His arm brushed against hers as he did so, knocking her slightly.

He crossed his legs, placing his hands in his lap, staring down at them silently.

Finally, he spoke.

"You okay?"

She let out a single laugh, one that sounded like all the tension in her leaving via her mouth.

"I suppose so. Are you?"

Cole blew air out of his nose, "I'm tired, and hungry. But, we're not dead. So I guess I'm good."

"Well said."

She felt a weight lean against her shoulder, and rested her cheek atop Cole's head.

"Zane's back to normal."

"He is."

"That's nice."

She nodded, instinctively grabbing his hand and beginning to rub his knuckles. Cole shuffled further into her side.

"What now?"

Pixal hummed, "I suppose we will begin to repair the city. The others will move back in with us. Our allies will go home. Wu will call you all lazy after taking a well earned rest-" Cole snorted at that "-And Ninjago will be at peace once more."

"Until the next threat arrives."

"Until the next threat arrives," She agreed.

"Gotta love our job."

"You know, you could take a break, Cole."

He hummed, "Yeah, I guess. I've always wanted to travel."

"I'm sure Wu wouldn't mind."

"What about you?"

"Me?"

"Yeah, you could take a break too."

She glanced down, thinking.

"Well, where would I go?"

"You could come with me. We could make a road trip out of it. Maybe Zane will come with us."

"I doubt it, but that is a nice thought." She squeezed his hand, "Perhaps I will join you in your travels."

"That's good to hear. It'd be nice to travel with you."

"Thank you, Cole."

She felt his breathing slow against her.

"Are you falling asleep?" She chuckled.

"We just fought the embodiment of evil for the third time, cut me some slack Pix."

"Alright, point taken."

After a while in silence, Cole began softly humming to himself. Pixal found herself joining in, their small corner of the warehouse buzzing with their low voices.

Cole's voice became softer, eventually fading out as his eyes slipped shut, so Pixal continued until he was completely asleep.

Leaning her head against the wall behind her, she closed her eyes, the soft breathing of her teammate allowing her to enter a meditative state.
