It was nightfall the time they arrived back in Seoul. Neon lights of one of Bong-suk's den's lit overhead, bathing them in a scheme of yellow, oranges and white. Hee-won was jittery at facing the older woman's anger. She had pretty much ignored her their entire trip, shut her phone down which only meant Bong-suk was one screw lose from ripping Hee-won a new one. But Hae-jo assured her she would be fine, Hee-won retaliated by saying he was most likely very dead too.
"Did someone order fried chicken?"
The two beamed as they stepped through the doorway with matching grins withholding a grimace. They expected to be met with concern, maybe even relief. What neither expected was eight pairs of eyes glaring daggers into their souls.
Hae-jo's smile slipped off his face when he saw Bong-suk and Kkari alongside two of the last people he ever thought he'd see. Standing beside them, agitated and clearly distressed, were an equally stunned Dae-hyun and Ji-woo who were gaping at an equally frightful Hee-won who had lowered her arms with the drinks. There was a stunned silence that followed, eyes bouncing over one another before an all out war broke out.
"LEE HEE-WON YOU BITCH!" Ji-woo yelled as she lunged after Hee-won who grabbed Hae-jo and maneuvered him in from of her but Bong-suk was quicker, she cleared the distance in seconds and grabbed onto him just as fast. Both Dae-hyun and Kkari lurched after the two girls together as Hee-won and Hae-jo tried to bolt for the door simultaneously but collided together, allowing for Bong-suk to grab onto his jacket and for Ji-woo to latch onto Hee-won's hair.
"Ow ow ow!" Hee-won cried, hands curling to her head as Ji-woo tugged her into a nearby room, Dae-hyun following after the pair.
"Hey Ji" Hee-won greeted sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head when Ji-woo let her vice grip go. The pretty ravenette looked positively furious as she glared at her friend.
