The water splashes all around me creating huge noise as my clothes get soaked with the water going inside my nose and ears.

I quickly grab the edge of the fountain steadying myself as the water descends down my face.

I gasp for breath while my eyes burn and start coughing leaning forward on the edge as the water goes down my pipes.

I hear a lot of footsteps coming near me while I try to open my eyes ignoring the burn caused by the water and my eyes fall directly on Shreesha.

Someone grabs me by my shoulders while I am busy staring at her smug face but soon my gaze is shifted to Agastya as he cups my face turning it towards him.

I can't hear what he says but he looks panicked as he pulls me closer brushing my wet hairs away and burying my face in his chest.

The coat I was wearing is removed from my body but all my clothes are already wet and I am french from head to toe.

I suddenly start feeling the cold air hitting me from everywhere causing a shiver to run down my body.

"You-r Your- cloth-es" I mutter as Agastya grabs me closer, getting drenched himself due to my wet clothes.

"Are you okay?!" He asks, looking at my face in concern while he is panicking.

I try to offer him some words to ease his mind but nothing comes out of my mouth.

I am lifted in his arms as he takes quick strides towards the car holding me closer to himself.

I see Nimesh opening the door, His face matching the expressions of his brother as they hurry me inside the car.

Agastya gets in the back seat holding my body on his lap as he constantly tries to rub my palm and face.

"Sit at the front!" He shouts at someone just as I start closing my eyes. My head throbbing in immense pain.

The fall took me by surprise and because the fountain wasn't deep, I banged my head at the bottom.

"Aadriti, Open your eyes!" Agastya's panicked voice echoes in my head and I feel him patting my cheeks.

I try to move my hand to assure him that I am fine as my hand pats his chest twice. I mutter a few words not sure if he can hear them when I am not able to comprehend them myself.

Author's Pov

Agastya tries to keep Aadriti awake but she closes her, not responding to his voice.

"Aad-riti" His voice breaks as he holds her closer to his chest.

Nimesh tries to drive the car as fast as possible while glancing from time to time at his brother.

Shreesha observes Agastya with an unknown look in her eyes as her eyes keep darting back between him and Aadriti.

When they reach Nimesh's house he is quickly by his brother's side opening the door for him as he carries Aadriti inside.

The water trails their path towards their bedroom as both Aadriti and Agastya are now drenched in water.

Nimesh walks behind them calling the door quickly while Shreesha follows their lead quietly.
