“No offense, but you both can't cook to save your own lives” Reyansh sighs, shaking his head as he stirs the pot.
“Excuse me? I cook better than Jungkook!” Dhruv glares at Reyansh with an offended look causing me to laugh at him.
“Your better cooking will send someone to the ICU” That gets me a pillow straight on my face and now it's Reyansh's turn to laugh.
“If you guys are done, help me complete this assignment” Jungkook says, completely ignoring the allegations made on him.
“Nope!” Dhruv exclaims loudly and Jungkook turns at us with a pleading look “Please guys! I will owe you”
“Don't worry I'll help” I mutter, pushing the pillow in Dhruv's hand and sit beside Jungkook to help him complete the assignment.
“See! That's how friend should be!” Jungkook exclaims taunting Reyansh and Dhruv while glaring at them.
When we are in the middle of completing the assignment my phone rings and Dhruv is quick to pick it up as he is sitting on the couch.
“Your brother is calling” Dhruv tosses the phone towards me and I frown thinking why my brother is calling me this late at night.
“Hello” I answer while getting up from my place and walking near the balcony.
“Agastya! How are you?” My brother asks and a smile comes on my face.
“I am good, how are you?” I question back.
My brother is the only person who keeps checking up on me apart from his mom who calls me once in a while but I still am not comfortable talking with her as freely as I do with my brother.
“I am good, I hope your studies are going well” He says and I glance back at the boys and reply “Yes”
“Good, actually I called because I got to know Shreesha is also studying at your college” I frown at his words, didn't he already know about this?
“Yes” I reply and he continues “She was telling me she haven't made any friends apart from yet, and you guys are bonding well I see”
I am not sure what to answer so I just listen to him without saying anything “I am glad you are helping her out, I know you are not very comfortable around most people but I am happy that you are making efforts to get to know her, she will be our family soon”
“Yeah” I reply solemnly. I thought he called to know how I was doing.
“If you don't mind, can I ask for a favour?” He questions and immediately reply “Yes, what happened?”
“Please take care of her okay, it's a new environment and she doesn't know anyone apart from you, I am sorry for saying this but please keep her company and help whenever you can” His words feels like a sense of responsibility on my shoulders
