“YOUR WHAT?!!” I stagger back in surprise as I see Aakarsh bhaiya screaming in shock looking at me with an open mouth and wide eyes.

Oh uhm I guess I didn't prepare him enough for this announcement

“Woh actually-” I try to calm him down by attempting to move closer but he looks flashbaggered by my words.

“Zee, did you hear her?” He eyes Zee with his wide eyes asking if he heard the same thing as he did.

“Aur yaha main soch raha tha Teri wajh se main pagal hojaunga, par yaha toh tu hi pagal ho gayi hai!” Aakarsh bhaiya slaps his forehead and looks down in shock.

(And here I was thinking I will become mad because of you, but here you have already gone mad before me)

“What are you saying?” I scrunch my face at his rubbish words.

“What I am saying is it's not safe for you to live here any longer, or we will need to admit you to a mental asylum” He gives me a concerned look.

I press my lips together looking at him in displeasure “Will you hear me out for a minute?”

“Have you developed personality disorder?” He continues ignoring my words.

I turn my head to Zee, fed up by my brother's behaviour and ask for his help with my eyes.

“Now I am asking again who's this boy?” Aakarsh bhai questions which makes me turn my attention to him again.

“Will you believe me If I explain it to you?” I ask patiently though I already know his answer.

“There is no need for any explanations anyway, You are not marrying anyone and not any time soon, so tell me where you are staying and we will pack your luggage and leave for home” He dismisses me as If whatever I might have to say is not important.

Standing up from the chair he collects his phone from the table ready to leave without letting me speak any further.

“Did you even hear a word I said? I am not going anywhere, I am staying here” I turn in my chair and stare at his back when he stops in his place.

He turns to look at me as all the humour fades away from his expression as if someone suddenly switched a button.

“Three months were enough for your Rebel phase, now it's time to go back. so stop being stubborn and get up” He speaks in a monotone pinning me with his stare.

“You are not even listening to me-” I argue desperately but he cuts me off without letting me complete my sentence.

“There is nothing to listen, Your dad wants you back home and you are coming with me”  He answers sternly while maintaining his calm expressions.

“But bhai-” I slowly stand up from my chair trying to make him understand or atleast hear what I have to say.

“Didn't you hear what I said?” His face turns downright angry as he glares at me “Since when have started arguing back? Is this what you have been learning here?”

I might have not paid attention to our surroundings earlier but now I can clearly sense the silence all around the cafe.

I look around seeing as everyone has stopped talking among themselves and are now staring at us.
