Just because you like being alone
Doesn't mean you are a weirdo
Just because you don't like to talk much on the phone
Doesn't mean there's something wrong with you
Just because you may be an introvert of a kind
Doesn't mean there's a problem with your mind
Rather, the problem is in those who view anything different as Dangerous and weird
Without even trying to understand it
So why listen to people who don't want to understand you?
The answer is: Don't care about them
Stay you, stay true
And there's absolutely no shame in being different
Even if, behind your back, they continue to chatter
Just know that it doesn't matter
For they can continue their useless gossip
And you can be whoever you want
And that is the key to being truly free
