Not everyone you meet in your life will stay for long
Even loved ones whose time you thought would prolong
Maybe life was like a swing that slides back and forth
But we might start to lose track in the in-between
That delicate space where the swing doesn't quite move or stop
If you don't belong, don't be long
Understanding runs much deeper than blind love ever would
Relationships are built on trust and common ground
If you notice that some of yours have none,
Then leave gracefully if you could
