It's terrifying to let people in
After all, isn't that how most tragedies begin?
The possibilities are slim
But what are the chances that they might understand you?
Yes, that is indeed scary
Because even you don't know yourself at times
So you cut everyone out and stay wary
The possibilities are scarce
But what are the chances that there's someone out there
Who will love you more after knowing you a bit better?
Someone who will read all of your letters
You don't have to suffer in silence
Your caution is justified, for the world is a very terrible place
But that doesn't mean there is nothing to live for
You were born for a reason
Instead of hiding yourself every single season,
Get up and show yourself
Once you do, you'll find your fears evaporating along the way
