Jamie and I stopped hitting each other with pillows and looked down at Jase. Jase was laying down on the ground and he rolled over so his stomach was on the ground. He began rocking back and forth. I looked up at Heather and she looked back at me. Her eyes were widened with shock. I looked over at Jamie and he was laughing really hard.
"Heather, what did you do?" I asked and began to tap my foot on the ground.
"I thought he was a stranger!"
"Why would there be a stranger in my house?"
"I don't know."
"Then give me a better reason."
"Instinct."
"And what does your instinct tell you to do when under attack?"
"To kick them in the guy parts."
I looked back down at Jase and he was looking pretty miserable. He did stop rocking so I guess that's a good sign. He's still facing the ground though so I don't think that's a good sign. He seems like he's in so much pain. Heather must have a pretty strong kick.
"Are you ok?" I asked Jase.
"Uhhhh." He groaned from the ground.
"Heather, I'm so ashamed of you at the moment."
"I'm sorry!" She screamed.
"Don't tell me!" I screamed back.
"Oh. Yeah. Right. I'm sorry, Jase." She yelled down to him.
"Yup." He said.
His voice was muffled against the carpet. I looked over at Jamie and he was on the couch holding his stomach while still laughing. Why is this so funny to him? If he were in Jase's place he wouldn't be laughing this hard. But Jase probably would. So I guess it's ok that he's laughing so hard because when it happens to him Jase can laugh hard and use this moment of time as an excuse.
Jase suddenly rolled over onto his back and glared at Jamie, who is now laughing even harder if possible. Jase rolled his eyes and stood up slowly. You could tell he was in a ton of pain. He turned to Heather and looked her in the eye.
"Nice kick. Please don't do it again."
"Thanks, and sorry." She said.
"Yeah, yeah." He said and walked over to Jamie.
Jamie sobered up from his laughter and looked up at Jase who towered above him. They glared at each other, neither daring to blink and break their streak. Then Jase took action and punched Jamie in the stomach. Jamie doubled over in pain and Jase began laughing as hard as Jamie was.
"Revenge for laughing at me!" Jase shouted down at Jamie who is clutching his stomach.
"I'm going I to run now while I can." Heather said and took off up to my bedroom.
I looked over at Jase who had seen her run up to my room. He looked at me and I gave him directions to my room. He nodded his head and took off in a sprint up the stairs after Heather. Once he made it upstairs you could hear the loud thumps of his feet hitting the ground. I heard the familiar squeak of my door opening and heard footsteps walking across my room, searching for a certain person.
I sure hope Jase is just fat and makes those noises from his feet. If not, then I must sound like an elephant. I heard a loud piercing screech and soon heard two pairs of feet running around upstairs. I looked over at Jamie who had now recovered from his injury and he looked amused.
"Don't break anything!" I call up to them.
"Too late!" I heard Heather yell before she shrieked.
