Victor's Perspective
Thursday, September 10th, 2037.
Morning Break.
7:50 AM
I walked inside my classroom using the back door to get to my desk. I sat down and let out a yawn.
"Victor Courrier," He called.
"Present," I replied and raised my hand.
I lay down on my desk and took a small nap.
"Karina Yuki,"
"Present"
"Mikaela Yuki, absent," said Mr. Clark.
She's not here today?
"Today will be extra boring," I grumbled.
I ignored today's lesson and didn't take any notes. I slept through Algebra class. The bell rang, and I took my notebook and pencil. English class was less of a nightmare, I had already done my part with Yuki. I sat back and discreetly used my phone while everyone else presented. In the blink of an eye, I was already in P.E. class, I stood in the back of the circle while our substitute teacher gave instructions.
"Since your P.E. teacher isn't here to teach the lesson, we'll just play a game of dodgeball. I need two captains,"
"Aaron!" my classmates chanted.
Aaron smirked. I rolled my eyes, Class 3E is the worst class to belong to during P.E. class.
"Who else?"
The gymnasium was quiet.
"Charlotte?"
"Oh, I'm not good at sports, not me!" She refused.
"I'll be captain," Karina offered.
"Oh, your sister-in-law wants to challenge you!"
"Go, Karina!"
I smiled and applauded along with my classmates. Surprisingly, not everyone was a fan of Aaron but ate up any gossip involving Mikaela and that guy.
"Captains, choose your teammates,"
"I'll go first," said Aaron.
"What happened with the ladies' first rule?" I mumbled.
Aaron chose almost all the boys...
"I think I'm done," Aaron chuckled, "Victor, you don't mind being in Karina's team, do you?"
His group chuckled, all of them were somewhat athletic or "try hard" when it came to P.E.
"No, you made the right call, you would be covered in bruises," I said and walked to Karina's group, "My aim isn't that great,"
Aaron scoffed. Karina stood next to me and shot me a glare.
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
"Are you trying to get on Aaron's bad side?" Karina asked.
"I'm not scared of him; it's just a dodgeball game," I shrugged.
"You're on my team, so don't drag us down with you," She glared, "Most of our teammates are girls, and these idiots won't go soft on us just because of it,"
"Begin!"
Karina was right, the other team was aggressive as hell, knocking over items on our side or hitting the cart. Some of our teammates were hit so hard but they played it off.
"Round two!"
The second round continued, and it was obvious no one from Karina's group wanted to play against them.
