Miko's fingers drummed excitedly against the steering wheel, the rhythmic tapping almost matching the beat of the latest song they'd heard on the radio. Her auburn hair was pulled back in a bandana, and her arm tattoos peeked out from under the sleeves of her jacket as she maneuvered through traffic. The streetlights blurred past, casting a kaleidoscope of colors on the dashboard. Beside her, Y/N sat with her head tilted back against the headrest, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Miko could feel the electric buzz in the air, both of them eager for the night ahead.

"You think we're going to make it on time?" Y/N asked, glancing over at Miko with that mischievous smile she always wore when she was feeling a little playful. Her fingers drummed lightly on her leg to the beat of the music.

Miko shot her a quick glance, her lips curling into a grin. Her blue eyes sparkled with the same excitement. "Of course we will. Radio stations never give away tickets to a show this big without making sure you have just enough time to get there. They have a whole system for it."

Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Uh-huh, and you're just trusting their 'system'?"

"Hey," Miko laughed, her grip on the wheel tightening as she maneuvered around a slow-moving car, "I have a good feeling about this. Plus, it's a pop concert. It's never really 'on time,' right?"

Y/N leaned forward, her eyes scanning the road ahead. "True. But if we're late, I'll be blaming you for hyping me up about it."

Miko's heart skipped a beat at the playful challenge in Y/N's voice. She always did love that about her—how she could mix teasing with genuine affection so effortlessly. They'd been dating for a few months now, but in so many ways, it felt like they were still discovering new little things about each other.

"Well," Miko grinned, eyes back on the road, "how about we focus on getting there first, and then you can blame me later."

Y/N chuckled softly and nudged Miko with her elbow. "Deal."

There was a comfortable silence that fell between them, just the soft hum of the engine and the radio's low chatter filling the air. Miko's mind wandered back to the moment they had found out they'd won the tickets. It had been a random thing, really—just a late-night radio contest they'd entered on a whim while they were lying on the couch together. They hadn't expected to win, especially for a concert this big. But when Miko heard her name called out over the airwaves, she remembered the way Y/N had jumped up from the couch, wrapping her arms around her and spinning her in a happy, dizzying circle.

"I still can't believe we actually won," Y/N had said, still breathless from the excitement of it. "We've got tickets to see the hottest artist on the planet. This is huge."

And now here they were, only a few minutes away from the venue. Miko could feel her pulse quickening in anticipation. The artist they were going to see had been blowing up all year, their songs playing everywhere from radio stations to TikToks. They'd been fans for months, ever since the first track dropped, and now they were about to experience it live—together.

"Okay, here it is," Miko said as she pulled into the crowded parking lot. "Moment of truth."

Y/N's eyes shone as she leaned forward to get a better view of the venue. "It's huge! Look at the line of people already waiting." She was practically vibrating with excitement.

Miko parked the car, and they both jumped out, the crisp night air greeting them with a chill that only made the warmth between them more noticeable. Y/N grabbed her hand instantly, her fingers curling around Miko's as they made their way toward the entrance. Miko's heart fluttered, not just from the thrill of the concert but from the way Y/N's touch grounded her in a way that nothing else could.

As they walked toward the line, Miko couldn't help but feel a wave of gratitude. Their relationship had been blooming in the months they'd been together, and every shared experience, from lazy days in bed to nights like this, felt like a piece of something bigger—something they were building together.

"You know," Y/N said, her voice soft but teasing, "this is the first concert I'm actually excited to be at with you."

Miko raised an eyebrow. "You've been to plenty of concerts with me before."

Y/N smirked. "Yeah, but this one's special. It's not just the artist—it's being with you. You make everything better."

Miko's heart gave an unexpected leap. She stopped walking, pulling Y/N to a gentle stop beside her. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, it felt like the whole world had paused. The crowd around them seemed to blur into the background, and all Miko could see was Y/N—the smile that always made her feel at home, the eyes that always seemed to understand her, and the love that seemed to grow stronger with every passing day.

"You're gonna make me tear up right before the concert starts," Miko said with a grin, brushing a strand of hair out of Y/N's face.

Y/N laughed, the sound like music itself. "Well, then I'll make it up to you with front-row kisses after the show."

"Deal," Miko said, her heart feeling a little lighter as she kissed Y/N's forehead. "Now let's go make some memories."

Together, they joined the line, the buzz of the crowd growing louder as they inched closer to the entrance. Miko could feel the excitement building once again, and as they stepped inside the venue, she knew this was going to be one of those nights they'd never forget.

The music, the lights, the energy—it would all blend together, but the best part was being there with Y/N. That was the memory that would stick with her long after the last note had faded.
