The gym was buzzing with energy, the rhythmic clinking of weights mixing with the steady hum of treadmills. Y/N adjusted her ponytail, her curls bouncing as she looked over at Miko, who was already stretching. Miko's auburn hair was slicked back into a bandana, and her tattoos peeked out from under her sleeves as she reached high above her head stretching her toned arms. Y/N couldn't help but stare a little longer than necessary.

"Enjoying the view?" Miko smirked, not even bothering to look over as she continued her warm-up.

Y/N's cheeks flushed. "Maybe," she teased, trying to play it cool. "You're just my pre-workout motivation."

Miko laughed, the sound light and musical. "Well, I hope that motivation gets you through leg day. You promised you'd keep up today."

Y/N groaned dramatically, throwing her head back. "I was hoping you forgot about that."

"Nope! You're stuck with me, babe." Miko winked, her warm blue eyes sparkling, her tattoos a vivid reminder of her strength and passion.

They moved to the squat rack, Miko demonstrating perfect form, her movements fluid and strong. Y/N watched, her admiration growing. Miko was fierce and focused, yet playful, always finding ways to make working out fun—even when it was brutal.

"Alright, your turn!" Miko stepped back, helping Y/N adjust the bar. "You've got this."

Y/N took a deep breath, positioning herself under the weight. She lowered into a squat, feeling her legs burn, but she didn't want to back down. Not with Miko watching, cheering her on.

"That's it, Y/N! You're killing it!" Miko encouraged, her hands ready to spot just in case.

Y/N powered through the last rep, letting out a small grunt as she stood upright. She racked the weight, her legs wobbly but victorious. "See? Told you I could keep up," she puffed, trying to catch her breath.

Miko grinned, stepping closer. "I never doubted you." She leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to Y/N's cheek. "You're stronger than you think."

Y/N's face heated again, but she felt that familiar flutter in her chest. "Flattery won't get you out of cardio," she teased, pointing toward the treadmills.

Miko rolled her eyes, but her smile didn't falter. "Fine, but you better run beside me."

"Wouldn't have it any other way," Y/N said, lacing her fingers through Miko's as they walked toward their next challenge together.

Let me know if you'd like any other adjustments!
