Chapter 674

(Apologies I know that I'm slow on publishing these chapters but I'm going through the tapes and making sure I understand everything correctly)

Catnap wasn't sure what else to do, he had to wait for further instructions before trying to do anything else. He could probably leave the Playcare now that he had his fun and maybe he could help the Prototype with anything he needed. Catnap wanted to rest, he really did but he knew he couldn't do a lot of resting now that he could be of good use to his lord, he didn't know where Prototype would be now since it seems that he always was moving around trying to find parts to put himself back together. Catnap wanted to help him find more parts for his lord, to help him build up, build stronger, build-" Catnap hears something, he looks around Playcare for the source of the sound and it's his lord! The Prototype makes his way over to Catnap, his grin landing on the purple cat as he eagerly awaited his command. "That wasn't all I planned... there will be more to come..." his voice wavers between static, female, and male coworkers, some of them Catnap remembered but he didn't even flinch. "There are more toys, more days of... this all together, more to The Hour Of Joy" the Prototype looks at Catnap as moves around the cat circling him like prey. "There are many toys here in this factory... and some are trying to come for those you have locked away" the Prototype says as Catnap looks towards the doors "oh no... they aren't coming from there" the Prototype grabs Catnap's chin and turns his head towards a vent high above, one with no smoke coming out of it. Catnap didn't like that. "Better watch that vent there, we wouldn't want the guests coming in and taking away all your hard work now would we?" the Prototype says looking into Catnap's eyes who shakes his head and looks at the vent again, he knew he probably couldn't get up there with how high it was but maybe he could toy with whoever was going to come through them. The Prototype knew that Catnap would deal with them, he would also witness how he did it, and then perhaps he could even recruit the two... especially when they would be useful to him more than the dog. The Prototype pats Catnap's head "good... now be gentle to the prey... we still need their help" the Prototype reminds Catnap who nods in understanding. Catnap watches as his lord disappears hiding in a corner... he notices the spot where Frowny Fox stayed and he shakes his head "pathetic, even here there is homeless toys, if only they could see how much I plan to help them..." he says with his distorted voice before going silent and waiting, Catnap watched the vent but decided to instead pretend to be asleep and then pounce while he had a chance, he climbs to the top of the Dogday statue in the middle of the Playcare and lays down, he makes sure to act asleep to catch them unexpectedly.
