"Do you believe in miracles?"
"I stopped believing in them after I got sick. All I can do is hope and pray that I will live another day."
"Then I will hope and pray for a miracle to happen to you."

Taehyun sighed loudly, hands clasped over his chest as he stared at the ceiling.
"I'm nervous for tomorrow."
Soobin looked up from the book he was reading, chin bumping against the flashlight he had tucked in the crook of his neck to read.
"Hmm?"
"Tomorrow. I'm... going back to school for the first time in two years."
A few more weeks have passed.
In that time, several things changed.
Starting off with the fact that Taehyun was in a completely new bedroom, but one he liked, especially after putting up a bunch of Star Wars posters.
After a thorough discussion, Nayeon and Jihyo agreed that it would only be right for the young ravenette to live with his actual mother.
With Nayeon obviously agreeing to visit them regularly; Taehyun definitely still wanted to see her.
But the main reason Taehyun agreed, which he didn't say out loud (but Jihyo told him later it was written all over his face) was that her little house was bigger, and had two spare bedrooms at hand.
Now that Soobin had been expelled from his university, he could no longer live in the college dorms, where he had previously resided.
Anxious to help, Taehyun pleaded with Jihyo to allow Soobin to stay with them for the time being, so that he at least has a roof over his head while he figures out what to do next.
Jihyo, who wouldn't have needed any convincing anyway, knowing how much Soobin has done for her son, obviously took him in.
And while Soobin had his own bedroom, that didn't mean he didn't mind camping in Taehyun's room on an inflatable mattress.
"You sound jittery. But that's normal Taehyunie, you haven't been there in years," Soobin remarked, closing the book and turning off the flashlight.
It wasn't particularly dark out, with a bright full moon shining high above in the sky, pooling the ravenette's room with pale moonlight, as he prefered keeping the blinds up during the night.
Luckily, his room wasn't too bright either.
Otherwise, Taehyun would've pulled his blanket up to cover his evidently blushing face.
What?
Something about Soobin calling him 'Taehyunie' did things to his heart.
"I like that," he whispered.
The brunette raised a brow, smiling in confusion.
"What?"
"When you call me Taehyunie instead of just Taehyun. It... makes me feel special."
