"Do you believe in miracles?"
"I stopped believing in them after I got sick. All I can do is hope and pray that I will live another day."
"Then I will hope and pray for a miracle to happen to you."

The doctor pulled the IV line out, sticking a bandage on top of it.
"You're luckily much more stable compared to a week ago, so Doc Jeon said you no longer need it," she smiled.
Taehyun nodded.
"Okay... has he found anything new?"
She shook her head.
"No Taehyun. But we're trying. Hopefully we'll soon find out."
He hung his head low.
"Of course."
Without another word, Taehyun lifted the brake on the wheels of his wheelchair, beginning to wheel himself out of the room.
Soobin stood up immediately when he saw him, smiling, but that soon fell when he saw the dejected look on Taehyun's face.
"Hey, is everything okay?" he asked, kneeling down to be on eye level with him.
Taehyun sighed, shrugging his shoulders.
"It's nothing..."
Soobin quirked a brow.
"Nothing new I guess."
"That makes more sense than just nothing."
He only gave him an eye roll.
"Well... is there anything you'd like to do then? We could watch another Star Wars movie if you want."
"I'm not really in the mood for a movie."
"Oh... then—"
"Could you take me to the rooftop?" Taehyun suddenly asked.
Soobin looked surprised.
"The rooftop? Are we even allowed to go there?"
"Yeah."
"Huh. I didn't know that."
"Now you do."
"In that case..."
Soobin stood up, going behind Taehyun, placing his hands on the handles of the wheelchair, pushing it forward.
"Let me grab our picnic blanket and then we go up."
"Alright."
The chilly winds of the mid summer evening greeted the pair as Soobin unlocked the door to the rooftop, which stayed open as he pushed Taehyun's wheelchair.
Down below, on the streets of Yeosu, traffic reigned. Even from up here, the honking and beeping of cars could be heard. In the far distance, down by the docks and harbors, ships of all sizes pulled in. The low hums of the horns and the squawking of seagulls that hadn't gone to sleep yet melted together.
