Three years went by.

Taehyun, now nineteen years old, patiently (read "eagerly) awaited for his boyfriend to come out of the crowd of many many travelers at the airport.

I can't wait to show him my car. And of course—

At that moment, he spotted a head of silky dark brown hair that emerged from the crowd, belonging to a tall figure dressed in a white button up with the sleeves folded, fanning himself because the air conditioner was broken.

Taehyun gasped, waving his hand wildly in the air.

"Soobin!"

Soobin turned in the direction of the voice. And upon laying his eyes on him, the widest most elated smile stretched across his face.

"Taehyun!"

He picked up his pace, rolling his suitcase behind him as he raced towards his boyfriend, who already had his arms spread out.

Taehyun felt relief and sheer happiness washing over him as Soobin swung both arms around him, picking him up and twirling him around. He snuggled close to him, burying his face into the brunette's nape and folding his legs around his waist, hugging him tightly.

"Oh my god it's really you!" Soobin exclaimed, pressing Taehyun even closer than what he thought was possible.

"It's me Hyung... gosh it's been forever."

Soobin unfortunately could not afford the rapidly growing expensive flight tickets to Seoul, especially with the financial crisis that began with late 2007 all the way until 2009. As much as they hated it, Taehyun told Soobin he should save his money for when he graduates, and that they'll keep in touch.

It's been an exhausting three years, but here they were, finally reunited again in 2010.

"Have you grown taller?" Soobin asked, setting Taehyun back down and grabbing the handle of his suitcase.

Taehyun excitedly nodded.

"Mhm! A few centimeters!"

"That's good to hear... you seem..."

The ravenette looked at the brunette with curiosity.

"Hmm?"

Soobin smiled sheepishly.

"Healthier than ever."

"Oh. Well..."

Taehyun grinned.

"... I joined a local swimming team after graduation!"

"You did?!"

"Yes!"

"That's amazing Taehyun!"

Soobin ruffled his hair.

"What else have you done since I've been gone?"
