"Do you believe in miracles?"
"I stopped believing in them after I got sick. All I can do is hope and pray that I will live another day."
"Then I will hope and pray for a miracle to happen to you."

A knock could be heard on the door.
Taehyun, who had finished unpacking his bags and reuniting with his bedroom, immediately sat up from his lying down position on the bed, closing the book as he ran towards the hallway, unlocking the door before Nayeon could.
"Soobin!"
The brunette was taken aback when Taehyun almost leapt into his arms, wrapping both arms around Soobin's neck, hugging him tightly.
"Are you okay, I was so worried!"
Soobin, endeared as always, folded one arm around Taehyun's waist, patting his back with his hand.
"I'm okay Taehyun... at least I came out of that meeting alive."
Taehyun pulled away, frowning.
"What do you mean?"
Nayeon entered the hallway at that moment, followed closely by Jihyo. And being the polite gentleman he was, Soobin bowed to the two.
"Nice to see you again, Nayeon."
"The pleasure is mine Soobin. I'm glad you found the apartment, I know the way here is pretty difficult."
Soobin only smiled softly.
"It's alright."
"What happened, Soobin? Why did that man ask you to come with him?" Taehyun cut in, eyes demanding an answer.
The brunette's face visibly shifted, even though he had told himself, over and over again:
If it's God's plan, I have to trust it.
"That man is part of my university's school board," Soobin began.
Nayeon and Jihyo exchanged worried glances.
That can't be good.
"He was the one who offered me an internship at the hospital. So of course, the police got in contact with him."
Soobin's eyes fell onto Taehyun, who was looking at him intently.
"Despite me doing no harm to you... they made me pay charges for taking you out without permission from the doctors, especially because you were in critical condition."
Taehyun's eyes shot up.
"What?! That is so not fair, I allowed you to take me out!"
"Did you mention that to the police?" Nayeon asked.
Soobin sighed.
"I did, but unfortunately—"
"Taehyun is a minor. They don't really like listening to minors," Jihyo sighed.
The ravenette meanwhile didn't like this.
Something's not right.
Soobin looked like he was still hiding something, or rather, he was refraining himself from saying it out loud.
