"I'm just happy to see that you two are in one piece." Elijah smiles at Hayley handing her a bowl of cereal and then looks at me.

"So, back to the murderous witches. I have some concerns." Elijah says and I choose to answer.

"They're evil. And, my life is still magically linked to Sophie Deveraux, which is not comforting." I tell him with slight concern.

"Yes, I think it's time we took care of that little problem." He says and grabs me a bowl from the high shelf. He puts it on the counter and I smile at him grabbing some special K cause I love it. I pour some in as Rebekah suddenly re-enters the kitchen, dragging the corpse of the girl Nik killed across the floor behind her. I try not to laugh at the scene and grab the milk pouring some in the bowl. I put it down taking a bite.

"I am all for it. As soon as they're unlinked, we get to leave this crap town. Who do we have to kill?" Rebekah asks and I smile looking at Elijah he nods picking me up and putting me on the counter beginning to talk.

"Probably no one." Elijah exclaims handing me my bowl of cereal. Hayley gives Elijah a significant look of disbelief. Elijah rolls his eyes and sighs.

"Alright, potentially everyone." Elijah says and I smirk happy to kill people. He turns to leave. I walk back into the kitchen to see Nik sitting once again on the couch reading his book. Rebekah is scrubbing the carpet as I lay down on the couch laying my head on Nik's lap.

"Poetry about poisoned apples from dead trees. Looks like someone's worried about impending daddy-hood." Rebekah exclaims and he shakes his head.

"Nonsense. Elijah's back. In his presence, all problems turn to pixie-dust and float away!" Nik jokes. Rebekah side-eyes him and grins, and Klaus grins back.

"Strange, I don't recall any pixie-dust from the darkness of the coffin I was recently forced to endure." Elijah says randomly popping out of nowhere. Elijah opens Esther's grimoire and flips through it.

"What are you doing with Mother's spellbook?" Rebekah asks him with confusion.

"Well, in exchange for my freedom, I promised the witch Davina that I would share a few pages from Mother's grimoire to help her learn to control her magic. I thought we'd begin with a little un-linking spell." He says ripping a few out. Rebekah, Nik and I look at each other with confusion.

"Wait, you want to use her to un-link Artemis from Sophie Deveraux?" Rebekah asks stunned.

"Sophie brought us here under false pretenses! She doesn't just want us to take down Marcel and his minions, she wants to take Davina back. So, she yolked her own cause to ours with magic threats and half-truths! Well, no more. As of now, our deal with Sophie Deveraux is null and void." Elijah explains and we all smile wryly at each other. Rebekah gets off the ground happily.

"Niklaus, I need you to come with me. I need five minutes alone with Davina. You need to make certain that I am not interrupted." Elijah orders Nik. He points to Rebekah and thinks for a moment before giving his order.

"You stay here and watch Hayley and Artemis." He orders her as he turns and leaves the house.

"How did I get elected super-nanny?" Rebekah says annoyed."More importantly, who put him in charge?" I ask and Nik picks up my head getting up and reluctantly follows Elijah out of the house. I start to walk up to my room when I feel something in my neck.

"Ow." I say feeling my neck to see blood.

"What the hell was that?" Rebekah asks and I shrug.

"Hell if I know." I tell her. A couple hours later I sit in my room on my chair. Rebekah walks in with a smirk and holding something.
