New Orleans

"I will." I kiss his cheek and run upstairs with silent tears starting to stream down my cheeks. How was I suppose to tell him I was pregnant with his child? I hear Elijah start to walk up the steps and towards my room. I take out some sage and start to burn it so no one can hear our conversation. He walks in and smells the air.

"Sage. Why?" He asks and right as he says that I broke. I fall to the ground crying loudly. He runs over to me trying to comfort me.

"I am pregnant Elijah." I cry as he rocks me back and forth.

"Is that why you are leaving? To learn more about it." He asks and I nod with tear stains on my cheeks.

"Good luck. Call if you need anything. I will tell Niklaus nothing so you can tell him yourself when you are ready." He smiles and helps me up. I nod with a sad smile as I sit down on the bed. Elijah speeds around the room packing all my stuff as I think. I smile at the thought of a baby. I put a hand over my stomach with a bright smile. This is not a curse it's a blessing. I look down at my stomach.

"Nothing will happen to you my baby." I say rubbing my belly.

"I'm done sister now up." Elijah smiles helping me up through my distress.

"I will call everyday I promise." I smile at him and we walk downstairs with him holding my bags. Nik is standing at the bottom with a sad smile. I walk over to him with a sad smile. I wish I didn't have to leave him but I have to. I need to know more about this pregnancy.

"I will miss you Nik." I smile sadly giving him a huge hug.

"I will miss you too love. Now don't forget you still have to something to prove me." He smirks mumbling into my shoulder.

"Well then go check in Kol's bedroom once I leave. Also go checking the other rooms I have another surprise." I smirk back leaning back out of his arms.

"I shall then love." He kisses me cheek and I smile. He waves to me as I walk out to the car to see all of the bags packed up.

"Thank you Elijah." I whisper knowing he will hear me. I hear a laugh as I get into my Impala. I wave out the window to everyone as I drive away

Niklaus's pov

Now what could Artemis have done. I smirk walking up the steps to Kol's room to see him waving out the window.

"What the bloody hell?" I ask and he chuckles turning towards me with a smirk.

"Artemis said she could bring me back to life should have believed her brother now get the others and go looking for the second surprise you will love it." He smiles slightly and turns back towards the window. I walk out of the room with a confusion etching my face. What could she have done?

"Oh yeah go check your room first Artemis left a note for you on the bed." kol yells and I nod silently walking towards my room. Automatically I see the little piece of paper on the perfectly clean bed. I smile at the thought of what's in this letter.

'I am guessing you have already found Kol seeing as he is the only one to have known about the note. I have two surprises for you left. The first one is in the room right next to yours, my room. The second surprise that I have left will take a little bit of time. I need to learn more about this surprise and once I am done I will come back and you will see. I love you. I know all we have had was a fling but I do love you. Always and forever, Artemis Gilbert.' I read and smile.

"I love you too." I say in my head knowing she is probably listening in.

"I know." I hear back and I smirk. I drop the paper onto the bed and walk out of the room towards Artemis's room. I open the door slowly to see the one person I have not seen in a thousand years.

"Henrik." I gasp tears brimming my eyes.

"Niklaus." He smiles wrapping his little arms around me.

"Oh my god." I say letting him go. "Bekah, Lijah, Kol get your asses in here." I scream and all of them wrap around Henrik once they get here. Everything is perfect except one thing. My one true love is gone.

Artemis's pov

A couple hours later I was in New Orleans with my little sister Hayley. Yes sometimes I hate her but she is my family and she needs to help me. A couple days later I had learned so many different things about my pregnancy. I walk into the bar with Hayley by my side. The two witches Sophie and Jane-Anne were working like usual.

"Hey Soph." I smile at the witch sitting down at the bar. Hayley sits down next to me and orders a drink.

"Third day here you having some troubled times." Jane-Anne asks putting down some water for me and some bourbon for Hayley.

"You can say that." I smirk taking a drink of my water. "Is there anyway for you too do something for me?" I then ask while Hayley goes off.
"What is it you need?" She asks leaning on the bar.

"I want to leave more about my family." I tell her and she nods understanding.

"Go down to the bayou you will learn what you need there." She smiles at me picking up my empty glass. I nod with a smile putting down the money and walking out towards my impala. I call Hayley on my phone.

"Yellow." She answers and I roll my eyes but smirk.

"Blue." I exclaim into the phone. I could just see her rolling her eyes.

"What do you want?" She asks meanly and I smirk.

"I found something I am going to the bayou I will tell you everything I find out bye sister." I laugh hanging up and getting into my car. About 20 minutes later I was in the bayou. My car shakes and I gasp not ready for it. It then breaks down and I groan getting out of my car to see a flat tire.

"Son of a bitch." I growl and kick the tire. I look on my phone to see if I have any signal. Nope. I groan and I look around trying to find something to bring me home. I obviously don't succeed. I look closely as I see a couple shadows start to move. I gasp in pain as I feel something pop. I fall to the ground and the shadows become people. Witches.

"I will kill you." I growl before I pass out.
