"Rebekah is not answering her calls." Elijah says as we sit in the courtyard.
"You worried about whoever killed those daywalkers still being out there?" I ask him.
"Frankly, I'm worried that she had something to do with this. She's very displeased with Niklaus, perhaps even conspiring with others." Elijah tells me and I nod.Elijah notices Thierry drinking alone at a table and joins him.
"Thierry, is it?" Elijah asks.
"That's right." He exclaims.
"My sister is rather fond of you. Strange, she's not typically drawn to unremarkable men. Would you care to explain your sudden magnetism?" Elijah asks him once more.
"I don't know what you're--" He starts. Elijah, annoyed, cuts him off by grabbing him by the throat and pushing him against the wall.
"You can either tell me what you know, or I can distribute tiny pieces of you throughout the Quarter." Elijah threatens and I smirk.
"She asked me to keep an eye out on witch stuff. I found something, and when I showed her, we were jumped by some guy. He desiccated her with his touch." He tells him after sighing.
"Like a coward, you left her." Elijah says angrily.
"What was I supposed to do, fight some warlock that took out an Original?" Thierry asks.
"Where was this, exactly?"ELijah then asks.
"The docks, warehouse 57. I was just doing what she asked. You cannot tell Klaus about this." Thierry begs. Elijah waits a moment before snapping his neck and allowing his body to drop to the floor.
"I shall take that into consideration." Elijah says. I stand up with worry.
"I'm coming with you." I exclaim clearly going whether he likes it or not.
"No. Stay here. The compound is safe." Elijah tells me and I glare at him.
"Rebekah is in trouble. I'm going." I stand my ground. He pauses for a moment and then sighs.
"Do not leave my sight. Understand?" He tells me and I nod. We leave going to the docks. Elijah, Hayley and I arrive to where Rebekah's body was left and immediately run toward her. Elijah is also on the phone with Sophie, who is still with the other bodies.
"Rebekah!" Elijah shouts. He goes to kneel next to her, but can't cross the barrier made by the salt.
"Oh, what's happening?" Hayley asks.
"Some kind of boundary spell. Someone is channeling her. Typically, it's a lethal process, but because she's an Original, she can't die. Instead, she's an endless source of power." I tell her getting worried.
"So what are we supposed to do?" She asks Elijah.
"You have to get her out of there." Elijah tells Sophie on the phone.A panicked Elijah is still on the phone with Sophie and is trying to figure out how to break the magical boundary. I roll my eyes crossing my arms before he remembers I am a witch.
"You're not listening. We cannot enter the circle. There's some kind of confinement spell... If I can't remove her, we can't break the link." Elijah tells her.
"It's a convoluted spell. It's like a witch's recipe. You can spoil the balance by adding a more potent ingredient. A mystical binding agent. I don't know, volcanic ash, rock salt... anything up to and including eye of newt." I tell him and he nods going back on the phone.
"What about the blood of a witch?" Elijah asks her.
"Do you have the blood of a witch?" Sophie asks him clearly confused. He turns to me.
"I need a favor." He says and I smile.
"I was waiting for you to figure it out." I tell him with a smirk. I give Elijah my wrist, and he gingerly bites it to draw blood. We walk towards the magic circle together. Elijah holds out my wrist and lets the blood fall on the magic boundary line. It starts to fizzle and deteriorate. Elijah is able to get through, and he quickly picks up Rebekah and takes her out of the circle. He reaches for Hayley's hand, and then he vamp-speeds out of there with Rebekah and Hayley in tow. I stand there for a second looking around with a pained look before speeding out of there. I immediately run up to my room when we get home. I fall to my bed and fall asleep. I wake up a couple hours later to stabs in my heart. I gasp in pain feeling my heart to feel nothing there. I feel my sight go away and I see millions of dead nightwalkers in the garden. It becomes blank and I pass out once again. A week later Hayley was with Rebekah partying with our family while I was stuck in the quarter still. Klaus and I walk through the streets with Monique Deveraux in tow.
"Witches of the French Quarter! I have with me Monique Deveraux. What a shame it would be were I forced to sent her back to the death she's just escaped! Should you wish to prevent this, bring me the witch Bastianna!" I yell with a smirk.
"The hell you think you're doing?"Marcel asks us.
"I'm opening negotiations." Klaus tells him.
"You know my rules. We do not hurt kids." Marcel exclaims.
"Spare me the hypocrisy of your moral code. It didn't stop you from killing Monique's mother. [He yells toward the buildings] Bastianna! I know you're close. The stench of witches hangs in the air. Mark my words! I will end this girl with the very blade you meant for me." Klaus yells out.
"I'm not saying it again. We do not kill kids." Marcel growls.Klaus holds the blade near Monique's throat. Marcel vamp-speeds up to him. They start to fight. While they fight, Klaus loses hold of the blade and it falls to the ground. Klaus gains the upper hand and snaps Marcel's neck, dropping his body unceremoniously to the ground.
"I decide who lives and dies here, Marcellus." Klaus growls as we stare at Marcel. I see Sophie stab him Papa Tunde's knife and he falls to the ground screaming in pain and I feel a pain in my heart and I slowly fall to the ground scratching my heart before I fall to the ground feeling the darkness overcome me.
"I'll take it from here." I hear before everything goes black.
