Killua:

Burning, numbness, weakness... I can feel all this and yet nothing at all. Sensation finally graces my body. It takes all my might to even open my eyes. Blinding light spills through the seams to reveal and angelic image... I have seen it before. I have seen that heavenly silhouette, smelled that intoxicating scent. And then I hear that mesmerizing voice.

"Killua-sama"

"C-canary?" I can't believe it is her, she is really here. I remember my mind running through the memories just a few days ago. Sitting in the tree, teaching her to ride my skateboard, and just actually enjoying spending time with someone for the first time in my life. 

"Hi, Im kyra. I'm your adopted sister." An unfamiliar voice chimes in. I look over at very thin, gangly, blonde girl.

"You are kyra? Nice to finally meet you" my vision starts fading in and out. 

Suddenly I am blindsided by an rambunctious little girl who screams, "Onii-chan you're alive!" It's my baby sister. I hold her close to me and revel in this opportunity I have to just be with her. An opportunity I haven't had in a very long time. Out of no where I am caught off guard by a feeling of intimidating aura. It's emanating from Canary!

Through out the beginning of the battle I am relatively unaware of what is going on around me. What little consciousness I had was focused on holding onto alluka. We fall through the floor, the room fills with water, I hear I destincted voices, and this is all I am aware of.

Suddenly the small body that was once close to me is ripped away. it wasn't alluka! Kyra is thrust into the air and her body seizes uncontrollably. Shalnark's needle is embedded deep within her skin. Canary looks on in horror, how can she fight kyra?

Kyra is thrown back and forth repeatedly striking at canary. But canary is careful never to strike back, she only dodges. I can see her working through in her mind what she needs to do to win. Sweat beads off her forehead. Kyra almost looks dead as she continuously thrashes about.

Out of no where she is slammed away from canary and into a wall, smashing it to pieces. Drawing her back again she is slammed into the wall just beyond that one, causing it to crumble as well. "Kyra-sama!" Canary cries out. I drag myself to my feet with alluka close in tow. Again she is thrown against the wall beyond that, and again it tumbles to the ground.

"You are going to kill her!" I cry out

"That is generally the idea" shalnark replies casually

"Onii-chan..." Alluka cowers behind me.

"It's ok alluka." I assure her, at this point it is pure will power that is keeping me on my feet. Employing my well known ability to ignore pain I force my feet to step forward.

"O... Onii-chan?" 

"Don't worry, alluka. Onii-chan will handle this. But I need you to stay out of sight, please!" Her lips tremble in fear but she nods and runs back toward the empty tunnel. "Canary! Snap out of it, we gotta finish this!" I call to the dazed apprentice.

"Killua-sama, what can we do? We can't attack her, and attacking him is impossible as long as she is under his control!" She calls back to me.

"You have to trust me!"

"Killua-sama I..." She hesitates. Another wall falls to the ground, this time we hear Kyra gasp in pain.

"Canary!" I plead
