And if I may just take your breath away
I don't mind if there's not much to say
Sometimes the silence guides a mind
To move to a place so far away

Your POV
--- a few days later ---
You and the boys had gone to Zane's memorial area often after the battle. There was still cleaning up needed in the city, but everyone collectively agreed that Zane's memory couldn't make them focus on anything else.
The six of you were now sitting on the edge of an undamaged building's roof, gazing down at the field of grass that seated the memorial. You were all wearing civilian clothing because your gis were bloodied and battle-scarred that needed fixing.
One thought poked you in the head the longer the silence went on, and you couldn't stand it.
"I need to tell you guys something," you stated stiffly, looking at the boys that sat to your left. They all looked at you in sync, and it made you feel nervous to say what was needed.
"... yeah?"
'Just spit it out.' "Uhm, well, I can't be staying in Ninjago for long," you said, your gaze travelling from one ninja to the next.
"What? What do you mean by that?" Jay asked.
"I mean... I need to leave," you replied, then mentally facepalmed yourself. That didn't explain much. You let out a low sigh. "To another realm. I've tried to ignore it, but the Overlord knows me. He knew the other version of me in the past."
Visible confusion was all that stayed in the boys' expressions. "So?" Lloyd said shortly, crossing his arms.
"So, I need to figure out what happened to me. Sensei Wu said my powers weren't inherited from my parents, but another source. I thought it was the Golden Weapons because of the way my powers interact with yours, but mine aren't affected by the weapons themselves," you explained.
The boys struggled to understand. It wasn't difficult to, but the load of information had a hard time ploughing through their grief. "Where will you be going?" Kai continued to ask.
"I don't know." The thing was, you did know, but you weren't confident in it. The Cloud Kingdom was your first choice to find out about your past, but the last time you went there wasn't so successful. Your second suggestion was to find your parents, which you had no luck in doing.
"Wait, you're leaving? Will we see you again?" Lloyd said, his eyebrows furrowed in a mix of emotions you couldn't decipher.
You were tempted to say 'I don't know' again, but it didn't seem appropriate. "Most likely. I can't be sure what will happen."
All of them looked more depressed than they did before, causing you a tinge of regret for telling them. But it was better than leaving without saying anything.
"Do we need to tell Sensei?" Cole said flatly, his gaze unwavering from you.
You shook your head, looking away to avoid intense eye contact. "No, he's used to my departures. I'll bet he won't even notice I'm gone."
You stood up from your spot, stretching your legs, and turned away to go over to the little structure that was the entrance point of the stairs to the roof. You were about to open the door until two voices called out together.
"Wait--" Kai's and Lloyd's voices blended together, making you pause. You looked over your shoulder, watching the two stride over to you.
Neither of them looked like they were happy to approach you at the same time. Lloyd piped up before Kai could. "Can I talk to you real quick?"
