"I...you look beautiful. Ive never seen your hair like this." He brought a hand up to to the curls that fell on my chest but I swatted it away. "It's nice."
"Are you out of your mind? You cannot show up to video shoots like we're still together."
"You wouldn't talk to me. What else was I supposed to do."
I huffed and grabbed his arm dragging him into my dressing room. I opened the door and pushed him in and then slammed the door shut. "So you show up to my shoot?"
He nodded. He was so calm about it like what he was doing was normal. It wasn't.
"You are unbelievable. You are so fucking unbelievable."
"Lauren please."
"Fuck you."
"I love you."
"No. No you can't just come back in my life and expect me to fall to my knees and kiss your ass."
He shook his head and closed his eyes grabbing my hands. "I was always here you just didn't always know it."
"No my name was just everywhere and you saw it." New album, new tv show, upcoming movie it's kinda hard to not see your ex everywhere with that much going on.
"That's not true." His tone was so soft.
I snatched my hands away from him "Do not."
"I just want you to tell me one thing."
I crossed my arms.
"Tell me you don't love me anymore."
"I don't."
"So say it. Say Prince I don't love you anymore."
I looked away.
"You can't. You can't say you don't love me anymore"
He brought a hand up to touch my face but I moved "Don't- I have shit to do. Excuse me." I walked out leaving the door open.
This isn't fair. He can't do this I'm not gonna let him decide when my life is important enough to be in.

I stopped "See no I don't think I'm all that you think I'm all that, that's why you all on this okay thank you!" I said smiling.
They collectively groaned.
"Lauren. Lauren." I heard in the mix of the groans
"What?"
"Don't play it." he said making them exclaim more
"Thank you baby! Thank you Omar!"
"What? No don't listen to him, please can we hear it?" Tish begged.
