•AN UPDATE ON CLAIRE AND HOW'S SHE'S DOING!!•
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*SEVERAL MONTHS LATER*
It seems like forever since everything happened with my parents, and then the cops showing up and Ivan saving me again. But really, it's only been seven months since all that. My parents got released after a month of being taken away.
They were told not to come in contact with me in any way. In fact, none of my other family members contacted me. And to be honest, I was happy about that.
So six months after, we moved out of state and got a fresh new start somewhere else that's far, far away.
Ivan decided it would be best to sell both of his houses. I asked if he really wanted to sell his parent's house that he grew up in. He said he didn't see any point of keeping them since neither of us wanted to stay there any longer.
We now lived in a small town in the countryside instead of a big city. It was beautiful, quiet and overall very peaceful. The house he picked out was absolutely beautiful. It's one of those farm houses with a huge front lawn and a gorgeous lake just a feet away.
The best part of all this, is that we got lucky and got a private area, and so it's just the two of us around here. There's no other houses around.
The people in the town are pretty friendly. And even though I'm not much of a people person, we've managed to make a few friends.
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm loving the life I'm living right now. I love how happy I am, and how loved Ivan makes me feel. I don't think life can get any better than this.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm only dreaming of all this. Like it just feels too good to be true.
But no matter what, I'm entirely grateful for the way things turned out in the end.
