Chapter 30: Talk of the town, what a surprise

Roberta's POV

I landed about five minutes ago. I am now calling Karen to tell her I made it.
Karen:*in sleepy voice*: hello
Me:*in my sleepy voice*: hello
Karen : hey you made it?
Me: yeah I just landed.
Karen: OK so go to the Marriott hotel and ask for the presidential hall and of course they'll probably give you that anyways but when you get there knock on room 1185 and I'll know it you because you'll make a beat and I'll come to your room which would be next to Michael's room. Then well go from there.
Me: OK cool see you soon Bug
Karen: see you soon.
We are now in the car and I'm headed to the hotel I am still excited. But just sleepy excited. I dozed off only to be awoken by the driver telling me that we are here meaning that I have to go through the kitchen because I don't want the surprise to be ruined and I don't want to get caught . I am now walking towards Karen's room 1185 . I make a beat with my knuckles and walk to my room which is next to Michael's. Once I get in I am putting my clothes in the drawers and my shoes in the closet and Karen walks in.
Karen: Awww it's so good to see you *gives me a welcoming hug*
Me: I've missed you soooo much.
Karen: OK so now that you've gotten settled. Here's $500 go out and find something to wear.  I mean it needs to be fancy also get some sexy bra and panties.  Tonight you're going to not only surprise the shit out of Michael but you're going to blow his mind . While you're out I'm going to keep Michael in the dark and I'm going to plan y'all a dinner in the ballroom. Be back before seven.
Me: Awww thank you.  Girl I have to repay you.
Karen: no need.  This is why I couldn't wait to get your crazy ass here hahaha
Me: hahahaa I love you crazy.
Karen: I love you too . So wake up around one because thats when they are going to rehearsals. Got it?
Me: OK cool now go back to sleep.
Karen: you ain't said nothing slick.
She left and I jumped in my queen size bed. It remind me of home because we have a queen size bed. Just thinking about it made me go to sleep.

Michael's POV
Alright guys let's start from the top. We are rehearsing and even though we just got here I can feel as if there a lot of tension and somebody knows something that I don't and I don't like secrets. We continued to rehearse until I told them to take ten I needed to talk to Karen.
Me: hey Karen
Karen: hey
Me: what's up
Karen: what are you talking about
Me: it seems like somebody is not liking someone.  I feel tension.
Karen: I don't know Michael... Maybe you kissed your fiances best friend in front of millions of people!!!!! Like seriously.  I don't know how you want us to be fine with the fact that you did kiss her back.  Like you could've dissed her or something but no you kissed her and it wasn't on her cheek. I don't know what to say but you better hope and pray that LA hasn't got the papers yet because yes they are in the papers.
Me: I'm sorry. I don't know what to tell roberta.
Karen: I don't know what to tell you but when rehearsals is over you need to make it right.  You got a lot of explaining to do too.

So after getting chewed out by Karen as if she was Joesph we continued rehearsing and before I knew it me and the crew were now on our way to the hotel.  Something isn't going to go as well as I planned it to go.  Something is telling me that.. Oh boy...

Roberta's POV
I am back from Times Square and I had to find something that would be jaw dropping. I am now deciding on what to wear for the night. I have on a sexy number. It's red and pink and it a matching set. I cannot wait for him to see it.

Michael's POV
We are now in the hotel and I'm in my room contemplating on picking up this phone and calling her.  But I don't want to break her heart over the phone . I hear knocking. I go to the door .
Me: who is it.
Tati: it's me Mike Tatiana

Because I told her to stay in her room until I talk to Frank and we discussed her consequences I snatch her in here because I didn't want her to get caught but for some reason I'm starting to think that wasn't a bright idea because she is a bit tipsy. She has on a trench coat on and wine and two glasses. 
Tati: look I know you don't want me to be in here but I have to apologize.  And we need to talk and what better way to talk it out then with a glass of wine. So come on what you say? 
Me: Tatiana you do know I'm engaged . And besides I don't usually drink.
Tati: I know but she isn't here and besides you're stressed. You don't know what to tell her or if you should tell her. So here this should ease your mind.
Me: sigh.... I guess you're right.  I'll just take one.
And one became three and by this time I'm drunk. We are talking about what to do.  Conversation was going good until she did something I thought she wouldn't do after what happened last night but she did it differently. She took off her trench coat and my mouth dropped to the floor and bounced back because she had on just panties and bra and heels. Tati: so Mike as you were saying. Oh don't mind me I'm getting hot.
Me: Umm can you put on some clothes.
Tati: what's wrong.. You scared... You shouldn't be.  You're a grown ass man.  You should be able to do whatever you want without people in your face and ears telling you what to do .
Without warning or hesitation she poured me another glass and I drunk it as if I didn't have anything to drink all day. And then the wine started getting to me . The next thing I knew I was back at the drawing board of kissing her. This damn wine is what my heart is telling me but my mind is saying what the liquor is making me say come here girl. One thing led to another and I'm am now taking her bra off and her panties.... God help me...

Roberta's POV
I finally picked out what to wear.  I have on a black strapped dressed that stops at my knees and it's v-neck and I have on red pumps to go with my red purse. I am now in the bathroom getting ready just putting finishing touches until I heard moaning sounds from the next room which is Michael's room. We had a joining bathroom meaning that I could open the door and come in. I thought they were not here rather I thought he wasn't here so I knew it couldn't be him. I heard Tatiana's voice and I was going to have to have a talk with her in the morning although I was going to want details haha. Wait... I hear a males voice. I opened the door just a little bit . I can see everything. I saw Tatiana because she got so much damn hair but I heard that man's voice again and I almost peed on myself because that man's voice that I recognize so well was Michael's... I kept looking and because the moon was shining through the window I was able to see his back and his curly black hair.
Oh... My.... God....
I quickly closed the door and went in my room and took off everything. I quickly jumped into some jeans and a Mickey Mouse shirt and my black and white converses. It's still chilly up here so I grabbed my black cardigan and purse . And called Karen while twirling the ring around my finger.
Karen: hey girl you ready.
Me: Umm come here for a minute.. Quickly..
Karen: OK girl I'll be there.
And just as fast she hung up and said its as fast as she got here.
Karen: what happened why aren't you getting ready to surprise the shit out of your man.
Me: because he just surprise the shit out of me.
Karen: what happened doll. Tell me.
Me: go to the other bathroom door, open it slightly and tell me what you hear and see.
She did that and when she came back she was red.
Karen: what the hell . She isn't suppose to be here.
Me: I'm not understanding..
Karen: last night she was on stage and Everything was going good until she kissed Michael and he kissed her back.
Me: say what?!
Karen : she kissed him and he kissed her back . Frank told her to go to her room and pack her things and go. But apparently she didn't leave.
Me: I can't believe this... I have to go... Now...
Karen: well where are you going.
Me: to my mom house.  I have to leave..   I'm sorry Karen.. Thanks for everything... I love you..  I'll call you.
Karen: OK girl I love you too.  You make sure you call me too.
She went back to her room and I put my coat on and grabbed my purse and left but before I left with my bag I walked past his room and took off my necklace that he gave me and hooked my ring onto it and hooked it around his door knob. I got downstairs and told one of bodyguards to drive to my mom house.  I can't be here any longer is what i thought before leaving the hotel...
