Chapter 44: Week One : Ideas and One Memorable Night

Roberta's POV
It's been a week since my world changed. We are now deciding on where we want to have our wedding. I don't want to have it at a church. That's paparazzi kingdom they love to crowd around areas like that and snap away. I have thought about doing it at neverland but I can't stand to be there at this Moment. I need for everything to be spotless meaning everything that Lisa touched needs to be disinfected before I step through the door. That's the reason why I haven't been there yet. I'm so serious this is my relationship I want absolutely nothing to do with her nor do I want anything of her in my way. So I've thought about doing it at another ranch called hidden valley ranch. They have beautiful houses and I fell in love with one. I just have to run it by michael and my mother. As for the theme. I'm going to let my mom think of that one. The colors... Well I want white of course but to make it not so boring I was thinking we can do a light gold . Hey here's Mike maybe he can help and besides its his wedding too. Gosh I never thought I'll be saying that.
Me: hey babe
Mike: hey love what are you up to
Me: well I was thinking of colors to for the wedding.
Mike: I thought you said your mother is supposed to be helping decorate and plan.
Me: well she is. It's just I have to come up with the colors. Rather we have to. She said.
Mike: oh of course. What colors did you have in mind?
Me: well I wanted gold.. Like a light gold and of course white. What about you?
Mike: well gold does sounds epic. I was going to say gold as well.
Me: two minds do think alike.
Mike: hahahahaha yeah they do.
Me: so I guess I'll call my mom and let her know the colors and she would have to pick a day to come out.
Mike: sure. I'll see for her whenever she is ready to leave.
Me: awww Baby thank you .
Mike: no need to thank me. I don't want to make my mother in law work any harder then it is going to be. So like I said just let me know when she is ready to leave and I'll send my jet to her.
Me: I love you baby and OK I will.
Mike: I love you more and great. In about three hours or so I need you to get dress and dolled up as you like to call it because tonight is for you.
Me: where are we going
Mike: it wouldn't be a surprise if I was to tell you. Silly girl
Me: hahahahaha right.. OK babe.
So after spending the whole day with family some friends and a team full of ideas it was now time for me to have the most surprised night of my life as I was told. I'm not putting lotion on and deciding on what to wear. It's a warm September night here so I guess I'll put on a black suit with a white button up shirt and white heels. I flat ironed my wildness I call hair on my head, leaving some soft curls in and putting on silver accessories to go with my beautiful ring that graces my ring finger. I'm telling you it's so surreal to me that I'm getting married soon. I grabbed my black purse and put on my clear lip gloss and walked downstairs and waited for my ride. I can't wait to see what Mr Jackson has up his sleeve tonight.

Michael's POV
After a whole day throwing ideas around and trying to make this day the best day of both of our lives I decided that we both needed a break from this for a moment. Tomorrow we'll be back at it all over again don't worry. Hahahahaha . So tonight I'm taking Roberta to a place that she may or may not be familiar with. It's the Mexican restaurant that she took me for my celebration on thriller. There she gave me the best gift that I still wear on my wrist rather I keep it in my dresser until I get time to get a new battery for it. My Mickey Mouse watch. I have the place reserved for us. I also have this place set up exactly how she had it set up. It's in buffet format, and music is playing, I overheard her and meme talking about music that is out now. They both love slow jams and because TLC is doing a phenomenal job right now and she seems to be very close to the girls I decided to have the record playing with some of their songs as well. In about 30 mins or so she should be here. I'm sending my driver to go get her. I hope she remembers this place but I'll understand if she doesn't. This is going to be a memorable night

Roberta's POV
As I'm talking to Sarah and some of my staff I hear Caleb tell me that Bill is here so with that being said I tell them I'll see them later and step outside of my door feeling the warm wind blow in my hair gosh I love California.
Me: good evening bill
Bill: good evening Roberta
Me: how are you
Bill:im doing good how about you
Me: I'm doing good.
Bill : that's great to know. Are you ready to go
Me: yes I am
Bill: that's great let's go.
Me: OK
We pull off and exit out of my gates and speed down the street and in the back seat is roses .
Me: my gosh these are so pretty.
Bill: well Mike wanted to make this night special and I hope this is a special night as well.
Me: me too.
The radio in the back is playing some good ole Luther Vandross. I love this man. My favorite song is the one that is playing which is A House Is Not A Home. So I'm back here swaying with my eyes closed and I'm singing not to loud. I was in the music that I didn't know that the car had stopped and would've kept going had bill had told me we were here. So after getting myself together I got out and was automatically greeted with some cameras not a lot but still. I walked in and somehow felt like I've been here before. I just have to try to remember when and why. That's not important though I found who I wanted. I told Bill thank you and walked up behind my handsome fiance.
Me: this place is beautiful
Mike: I'm glad you like it. Wow you look beautiful.
Me: thank you , you're the one who looks so charming tonight.
Mike: not as charming as the women standing in front of me right now. Shall we sit
Me: why thank you sir and yes we may I'm kinda hungry.
Mike: you ain't the only one haha so we ate and discussed alot and now we are slow dancing to never too much. Another Luther Vandross song and it went off and as it was going off I hear one of my favorite songs. Creep by TLC. Man I'm in love. I took off my shoes and because I choreographed this dance to this song I might as well show off. I'm jamming to the first verse then the chorus comes on and I do the dance that we rehearsed so many times.

I danced on and off to the song and the song had ended and I'm now putting my shoes back on and fixing my hair and hearing applauses from everyone including Michael.
Mike: I should've known you knew this song. You did choreographed this dance didn't you?
Me: heck yeah. Hahahahaha
Mike: wow I'm blown away. My baby can still dance.
Me: of course I can. That is a skill that I won't ever be able to not do. Even if I tried.
Mike: of course.
We were sitting down just Vibing to the music until I heard a song that I thought I wouldn't hear again. I mean I only heard this song about twice since its been out. Jodeci love u 4 life. This is my song... Seriously... So I got up and started moving my hips to the beat and I turned around and asked my fiance to dance with me and without hesitation he did.
Me: you know something
Mike: what's that baby
Me: we came here before didn't we
Mike: yeah
Me: why
Mike: well it was to celebrate my album Thriller . Rather the video for the album. You threw me this celebration. All of our friends and family was here and you gave me a custom made Mickey Mouse watch. Later on that night I made you my girlfriend. That was honestly the best night of my life .
Me: oh really. No wonder this place seem like I've been here more than once. Well I'm glad this was the best night of our lives. I can't believe I'm about to be married . I'm glad I'm marrying you. I'm glad that you are still here with me. I don't have anything to say until they special day so for now I'm going to nip it really short by saying I love you.

The night came to a end and we are now in my bedroom. I told him that I'm not stepping a toenail into neverland until they clean it from top to the bottom and if I have to I'll buy new furniture but I refuse to be lay or get comfortable in any part of that house that she has been.... I'm dead ass serious . He understood so now we are in my bed cuddling rather he fell asleep and I'm watching him sleep on my chest. I love this man I swear I do....
