Chapter 41: I Remember

3 Months Later

Roberta's POV
It's been three long, sad, improving , paining months since I was in a car accident that changed my life. Since then ice made big improvements. I don't have my cast on my arm or a brace around my ankle. I don't have to take my meds anymore. God is really good. I'm really blessed. The only thing is that I can't drive. Oh wait... Something is happening... I HAVE MY MEMEORY BACK!!! Oh yes!!!! Wow OK. Calm down... I got out of bed and did my hygiene stuff, I made my bed and and shot downstairs and was surprised at what I saw. Everybody was there in my living room.
Me: good morning
Sarah: good morning how are you feeling
Me: good
I went into the den and saw everybody there. My mother, meme, the girls,
Me: hey mommy, meme, girls
Mommy: did you. Call me mommy
Me: yeah you're my mommy
Mommy : oh baby you're back
Me: I'm glad to be back .
She hugged me and got back to making the food.
Meme: say that again
Me: hey meme
Meme : you called me my childhood nickname. Berta you're back for real. Girl I missed you soo much
Me: I've missed you more . Hey girls
Girls: hey
T-Boz: I got a question and it's OK if you don't know the answer but whats our names and where are we from?
Me: OK : your Tionne Watkins you are from miones, Iowa. She is Lisa lopes and she is from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. And lastly you're Rozonda Thomas and you're from Atlanta Georgia. The look on their faces was priceless because they all had tears in their faces. As well as Maleigha and mommy. I made them proud.
Mommy: somebody is here to see you.
Me: who and where
Mommy: go outside
I go in my backyard and gasp silently to myself because he is here... Michael is here.
Me: Michael Joe Jackson. Born on August 29,1958. In Gary, Indiana. The seventh of nine children, parents are Katherine and Joesph Jackson. You was still attached to your group Now named The Jacksons. I meet you in 1979 on soul train. We met again four years later on your biggest video and first MTV music video by a African American Thriller . I was your girlfriend. I went on the victory Tour with you and your brothers. On my birthday you proposed to me. You went to do your second solo your BAD while on your infidelity caused us to break up. We agreed to be friends... Best friends.. But you got engaged so our level of best friendship hasn't been up there.
I'm happy for your engagement. I want to thank you for never leaving my side. I know your fiance Lisa was probably having a fit. Oh and I love you too Michael.

Michael's POV
I'm sitting outside in roberta backyard just reflecting and all of a sudden I hear my life being reflecting. I turn around and see Roberta with tears going down her face as she tell me how we met and the rest. I started getting teary eyed. She took off her teddy bear ring I brought her and said.

Roberta:you brought me this before we left to go on tour in 86 . You also brought me a emerald and gold bracelet and necklace with my initials engraved in it.

Man I'm speechless. She actually remembered me. I ran up and picked her up and hugged her. My Roberta is back. Thank you lord.

Roberta's POV
He ran and picked me up and all I could do is cry and hugged him back.
Me: oh Michael. I missed you so much
Michael : I missed you more roberta.
Me: please forgive me. Thank you for not giving up on me.
Michael : I forgive you I really do and I would never forget you.

We hugged and head sniffles and clapps. They were clapping for me. I'm so happy to get my memory back. I'm happy to be back. Thank you god
