Chapter5: First day of work with Michael

Michael's POV

When we got out the truck I turned to help Roberta out the truck and noticed something she had on Mickey mouse. Now everybody and their mothers know that I love Mickey Mouse. I could've melted because she was too adorable and her wise words brought tears to my eyes, she was too kind... Wait Michael what are you talking about you can't fall for her y'all just starting working and talking with each other three days ago. I'm gonna put this feeling away for now. Well at least try because I do have to work with her. This should be fun..

Me:hey do you know what's interesting?

Roberta: what's up

Me: look at your shirt

Roberta: *looks at her shirt and gasped* it's Mickey Mouse. Wait... You are fascinated with Disney especially Mickey Mouse. *opens my jacket a little bit to reveal my pink Mickey Mouse sweater*

Me: *nearly dying of laughter* yes I love Mickey Mouse

Roberta: I knew that but I didn't think we would match

Me: hahaha

So as we made our way into John's office. She was as quiet as a mouse. Maybe because she overthinking a bit.

Me: what you thinking about?

Roberta: *snaps out of her daydream* oh me.. Nothing really just thankful for this wonderful opportunity and the fact that I get to work with you it's an honor.

Me: * blushing as hard as a kid who just got his pants pulled down in public* well thank you that's really kind and I can't believe that we get to see each other again but this more on a appropriate manner.

So we were so busy talking that we didn't know that we were in the studio until I heard my choreographer tell the dancers to run the dance again. I thought that we were gonna meet in John's office but I guess not because John is sitting in the studio as well.

John: good morning. How are y'all feeling about today?

Me: good morning John. I feel fine. You know me I'm always happy about working.

Roberta: good morning John. I feel amazing as always and I can't wait to get started.

After she said that I also notice how dedicated she is to her work. It's like 20 mins ago we were laughing and being silly and talking like teenagers now she just transformed herself into a whole different person. Which I like because it let me know that she knows when to play and when to be serious. Another thing is she wears her expression on her face I can tell that she is nervous so before we went over our parts I pulled her to the side away from John.

Me: *make her look at me in my face* Roberta calm down I can tell you are nervous and that's what's suppose to happened but trust me this would be like a simple conversation between me and you. Just think of it as the conversation we just had in the elevator 25 mins ago.

Roberta:*suddenly relaxes* I guess I am over reacting. I just need to breath and I'll be OK. Thanks for the advice mike"

After that she did really well. We laughed the whole time. And she really got the hang of her lines so she didn't need her script book and neither do I. We were working for two hours and right now we are taking a 10 min break until it was time to go to fitting and costume.

Roberta's POV

I'm having a blast right now, and to think that I would be a trainwreck is the wrong word right now. I've met all the dancers and the choreographer. Me and Michael rehearsed our lines to the point we don't need our script. John of course stopped us every now and then to tell us what we need to add and stuff. He is really a amazing director and he is funny! Right now we are taking a ten min break and me and Michael have our backs against the mirror. Michael just finished going over the thriller dance so he looks like he just ran a marathon. He has on a pink long sleeve button up plaid shirt to go with his Mickey Mouse sweater, brown jeans and his infamous penny loafers. But because he was sweating his hair is all over his head and puffy. Which is cute, I am so tired right now I'm using Michael as my pillow. I have my head on his shoulder and my eyes are closed. I can't get too comfortable because we are needed in fitting and costume in a little while. As I'm chilling I hear a camera flashed maybe it's just me but I think I would know what a camera sounds like. Hello I've been in front of it since I was in diapers . I shrug it off because maybe I'm tripping a bit. Besides we are needed in fitting and costume. To pick out what are we going to wear.
