Chapter 55: Preparing For Two Special Events

Roberta's POV

It's been so far 5 in a half crazy months. I've past the stage of feeling nauseous all day everyday. Instead a new symptom occurs I am now craving for stuff. Mainly ice like now I'm sitting on my yoga ball eating a cup of ice. I have crazy cravings like the other day I wanted a banana dipped in peanut butter. I can't fit my pants anymore. My stylist picked out a whole new maternity wardrobe. But the clothes are super cute so I'm OK with that. Tomorrow is my baby shower and I decided to want to know the sex of the baby.... We are having a..... GIRL!!!! I'm super excited. Janet, toya, Rebbie, and meme are just as excited. My mom has been doing a lot of shopping. We have the colors picked out for her nursery. We are doing pink, gold, and white. I'm super excited. Oh about the baby well she has a lot of character like she moves a lot and she kicks when she hears Michael's voice. He sings to her almost every night and she'll get the hiccups. That's hilarious. Everyone is super excited like the girls were over here and they were fascinated by the fact that there's a little person in my stomach. Her due date is in September I'm excited. I'm now in my workout room and doing yoga. I had to switch up my routine. I usually go to my workout room and workout for about two hours but because my stomach is showing now my abs have gone bye bye. So now I do yoga and drink a lot of juice and water . I have my first maternity shoot and I decided to-do something special that I don't usually do . I wanted to do a picture and be cause I know in going to be naked I decided to give Michael a picture in black and white and frame it for him and give it to him as a gift. I know he'll like it. The other ones I'll have clothes on and I'll be outside because it's May the weather's nice. So I'm excited. I've changed a lot too like my hair has gotten longer, my skin has gotten smoother, my feet have gotten a little bit swollen a long with my face. I think I look huge but Michael swears I look just fine. I don't see it but OK.

I'm now in my closet putting on lotion and getting ready to put on a purple and yellow babydoll dress I have on purple sandals, I left my hair down because I just washed it. I put on a pretty yellow headband, I applied just lip gloss and my accessories. I grabbed my purse and wobbled downstairs. When I finally get down here I'm met with Malissa and maleigha.

Me: hey y'all

Meme: hey beautiful how are you

Me: I'm doing good how are you

Meme: I'm doing good I can't wait for you to have that baby

Me: girl who are you telling but what you doing here mama

Meme: girl I got some news to tell you but I was thinking I could keep you company today. If that's OK with you

Me: girl you know I don't mind. Come on.

So me, meme and Malissa headed out to the studio. When we got there the stylist and wardrobe team immediately got me ready for the first shoot . I wanted to do the one where I'm outside first. So I have on a baby pink babydoll dress and pink heels and yellow flower headband around my head. My hair is flat ironed and I even have a bang!!! . They have me standing in a field with sunflowers and I have my left hand on my stomach and my right hand under my stomach. The weather is beautiful and I feel beautiful which I haven't felt like that in a while. We are now doing the the cover for the magazine I'm leaning on a door frame inside a pretty house. The door frame is white and they even have a glimpse of a pink room because I'm having a girl . I have my hands on my stomach and I'm smiling and what not. My last one is I'm in a white long sleeve shirt with Blue Jeans with white sandals I have curls all over. I'm in a white wood rocking chair reading a book by a window and one of my hand is on my stomach as I'm reading a book about parenting and what to expect. I look very content and that's because I am. This last shoot is not in the magazine because I want this one to be a gift for Mike. So I'm now naked and I'm on my knees. I have my hair parted so it can equally cover my breast I'm now looking at my beautiful stomach. The picture is black and white. I'm now in my dress and me and maleigha are looking for a picture frame and wrapping paper and a beautiful bug gift bag.
