Chapter 25: A sad but interesting farewell

Michael's POV
I can't believe time flies this fast like seriously. It's already October and I'm loving the tour. However Roberta has to go back to LA to start her new movie. I wish her all the luck. I made sure I showed her how much I am going to miss her last night and yesterday . I took her out and she enjoyed her day and her night was epic with a dinner and love. Lots of it... OK Michael get a hold of yourself. Anyways her flight leaves in four hours and she and I just came from rehearsals. I have a show tonight and I wish she could be here to see it but I know she'll see it when she gets home. Right now she is sleeping in my arms. I'm playing in her hair as she sleeps soundly.

Roberta's POV
Oh man I can't even began on how much fun I'm having on this tour. We have super fun when we aren't on stage or in chaos making sure that everything is right. However I do have to go home for this movie. I'm coming back I hadn't told Michael yet because I want it to be a surprise me. I told Karen though and she can't even wait for me to leave so I can come back. She is so silly. I decided to take a nap because I'm about to be hella sleepy on the plane. I'm in the middle of sleeping when I hear wake up really softly. I feel people touching my hair and my arms so I wake up to see Karen and Michael sitting on either sides of the bed. One has a box and the other one is balloons.
Me: what is all this guys?
Karen: I know that you leave in two hours and we haven't had time to tell you how much we appreciate you. And your help. We don't know when or if you are coming back so for the rest of your time here we are going to celebrate. You have to get out of bed first darling.
Michael: baby she said the majority of it. From me, Karen, the band, dancers and Tatiana we want to thank you for everything. You help, love and support means a lot. The fact that you do things out of your heart is wonderful. You don't complain at all and that's just unbelievable. We are going to miss your spirit with us but you know we are going to see you soon. I love you my love. Here is your balloons. The box that Karen is holding is a gift and you have to come out to see the rest. So we'll give you space so you can get yourself ready.
Me: Awww you guys *wiping tears off my face* you didn't have to do this. I love all of you. I'm very sad that I am leaving but I can't wait to see y'all again. Oh my... You guys have made me speechless Hahahaha. OK let me get dress and I'll open this gift when I come out.
Karen and Michael : you got it, see you in a bit honey.
They left and all I could do was sit there looking dumbfounded. I can't believe I have two amazing people in my life. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I took out my black high waste skinny jeans and a black thin long sleeve button down shirt . I put on my midnight blue ankle boots and my midnight blue blazer. I did my hair leaving it out and parted it to the side like Michael's. I put on my accessories and my eye liner and mascara and my chaptstick. I sprayed perfume and took out my pajamas and out them in my carry on bag. I zipped my suitcases and took a piece of paper and wrote Michael a note. I left it in his side of the bed and left my headband and my hair tie on my pillow. I walked out and gasped really loud because the entire suite was filled with the band, dancers, Tatiana, and the wardrobe team. I feel loved ..very much loved.

Michael's POV
After leaving the room I made sure that everybody was here. I didn't know how long it would take Roberta to get dress so we set the food out and the drinks. We played the music and that's when everybody started to come in. Once it seem like everybody is here the door opened and I heard a loud gasp. She loves it. I look at her and couldn't help the tears in my eyes because I'm going to really miss her. She has on a midnight blue blazer with a black button down thin shirt,black high waste skinny jeans and midnight blue ankle boots her hair is done like mines but of course hers is longer. She looks amazing. I love it.
Me: hey babe you look lovely.
Roberta : thank you handsome.
Me: *blushing * so this here is a homegoing celebration. From the BAD Tour to you we want to thank you. We love you and we are going to miss you dearly.
Roberta: Awww Michael you're going to make me have to reapply my makeup. Hahaha. This is lovely and I am thankful that such amazing people wanted me to be here with them as they embark on a new adventure... This tour.
We all hugged and clapped then we ate and talked and now it's time for the part where I act like a baby. It's not really acting because in truth I really don't want her to go but I know that she has to. Everybody left and the staff came and cleaned up or at least helped us because Roberta did most of it. We are now sitting on the couch with her suitcases by the door. It's just me and her and her box that I think she forgot to open due to her homegoing celebration.
Me: baby are you going to open that?
Roberta : yeah I'll open it right now.
She tore the wrapping paper off the box and took the lid off and she started to cry.
Me: baby what's wrong.
Roberta: I don't want to go because of the love that I'm going to miss. You amaze me Mike. You really do. I'm going to miss you the most. I love it baby I really do.
She said that because in the box was a teddy bear and a mug. The teddy bear had a heart in the middle and in the heart was cursive writing and it read:You are my life. I love you Sooo much. Roberta & Michael est. 1984 . The mug said wake up to love . Michael J. Jackson loves Roberta D. Strawder forever .
