Chapter 3: Thriller, He actually Remembered me

Roberta's POV

1983

Four years have gone by since me and Maleigha graduated from high school and had that amazing night on Soul Train. Me and Maleigha are now 23 years old. We don't live together anymore, we still talk and chill together because we will always be bffs. I live in Ecino California and Maleigha lives in Saint yanez California with her husband David (who is our choreographer) and their 7 month old twin girls Janice and Janet. Don't worry our career is still on point.  I've been just about everywhere except Canada. My house has 6 bedrooms, six bathrooms, outdoor pool, a tennis court, an beautiful front yard and beautiful backyard, a gate around the house, and exercise room, a dance studio, a big kitchen, a office, a den, and a bar. I have two German Shepards Ruby and Max. I have two toy poodles Monti and Mia. Six security guards, two bodyguards, four maids (one of them is my god mother) a movie theater, and a gallery room with all my pictures. Right now I'm in my exercise room and Sarah my god mother just walked in.

Sarah: hey girly Malissa called she said that when you gets chance can you give her a call.

Me: oh OK will do. *grabs my phone from the wall and dial Malissa number*

Malissa: Hey

Me:hey mal what's up

Malissa: oh nothing but I got some banging ass news that will make you scream

Me:what you got this time lol

Malissa:ok so I just got off the phone with John Landis the director. He was talking about how he is directing Michael Jackson newest short film Thriller and he needed a female companion for the video. I told him that I know a wonderful person who wouldn't mind doing the part and he said cool and for me and that person which is you to meet him later on today along with Michael.

Me: OH MY GOODNESS!!!  EEEPPPP!!!!  girl you know you are awesome and thank you sooo much. How can I repay you?!

Malissa: I knew that would've got you hype. This is your job of being a model and dancer and there's no need to thank me even though I know you are a very busy girl. I don't want you repay me with anything.  I'll swing by around 1 to come get you and we can talk about it some more.

Me: OK I'll see you when you get here.  I love you

Malissa: OK and I love you too. See you soon

After she hung up I looked at the clock and it said 12:05 so I ran into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water and a apple and jogged up stairs to my room to get ready. I can't believe I'm meeting Michael  again.  I'm pretty sure Mr Landis will be just as fun as I heard he was. Was what I was thinking as I turned on my radio Prince 'When doves cry '  came on and I ran into my walk in closet.  This would be the best moment to realize that I have a lot of clothes to choose from. I put on my blue high waist Capri's and my black Mickey Mouse T-shirt and my black and white converse and my jean jacket . I put my famous black and brown curls in a half up half down hair style then I brushed my teeth and washed my face and put my lotion on and applied my make up which includes eye liner and mascara and lip gloss.  I grabbed my black Gucci shoulder purse and walked down stairs into my kitchen to wait for Malissa.

Me: hey mom

Sarah:hey honey

Me: I'm excited and nervous

Sarah: why hun

Me: because I'm meeting John Landis and I'm meeting Michael again and I'm not sure if  remembers me or what am I'm gonna say.  I hope I don't look like a deer in headlights when I see him.

Sarah: Codi listen to me hun, take a breath now relax, you'll be fine, you were made for this part and because you were picked for this part it was Meant to be. Now you go do what god wanted you to do.
