Chapter 51: Back To Work

Roberta's pov
Well coasta Rica was fun. I haven't had that much fun since I was a teenager. That trip made me realize that even at 32 years old I can still have fun as if I was 17. I have a nice tan to go along with the recovering sun burn. All in all I still had fun and I would love to come back. But for now it's back to work for me and Michael. Like I just came back from working rather dancing. Me and the girls are rehearsing for the AMA's which is next week. They are so amped it's not funny. I'm excited too don't get me wrong. I heard Mike is supposed to be performing as well and also Janet. It's going to be a big event. Right now I'm getting ready for my first interview with primetime and my first interview since being married . I'll be heading to Mirage hotel to talk to Diane Sawyer... This is going to be good..

Michael's POV
It's been a lovely month. I can not believe I've been married for almost a whole month in a half. I actually like this marriage I mean don't get me wrong I liked the other one I was in with Lisa as well but with this one it just feels like something magical is going to happen. Right now it's back to work for us. The AMA's are around the corner and that means extra pressure for me because the last time I performed there was for the Dangerous album. I am now at sound check. This week has been crazy, from the photoshoot to interviews to now sound check for the biggest event in 94 . Roberta has been busy as well. She has been working extremely hard with TLC because they are also supposed to be performing . So she has been working on that but tonight she is having her first TV air interview with primetime and also her first interview with Diane Sawyer. I hope everything goes well because Diane is a hard person to sit down and have a interview with. She knows how to press buttons. Hopefully she won't press her buttons to hard. Now it's back to rehearsals..

Roberta's POV
I'm now ready to go, because I know they are going to want me to change clothes I just threw on something until I get there. I have on black sweats and a matching sweat shirt and black rebbox . I grabbed my purse and now jotting downstairs to meet Malissa, Caleb, Rob and Bill .
Mal : hey girly are you ready?
Me: it's now or never
Mal: OK let's go.
So me, Mal, rob,Caleb,and bill left for my first television interview.
About an hour later I arrived at the hotel and my team are in my room getting me together. Honestly I can say that I missed this.... The chaos... Plus they are putting in some major work. So now I'm all ready and one of the directors had already came in and told us that we have 6 mins left until showtime... So here I am with black dress pants, red long sleeve button down shirt, a red vest over my shirt, red high heels, a head full of curls, red lipstick and gold accessories to match. I'm now ready to go. When we get to the ballroom which is sooo pretty I am immediately rushed rushed into my chair and getting my microphone on.
Mal : hey you look pretty as always are you nervous?
Me:no not really.
Mal: that's good.. Good luck.
Me: thanks
Let the games begin...

Michael's POV
I just got home from sound check and when I say that I'm tired.... Im beat as a drum . As I'm getting ready for dinner and bed I notice that im just in time for my baby interview. Here we go...

Roberta's POV
Tonight we talk Roberta. Supermodel, child star, dancer, actress, humanitarian, choreographer, and now wife. Nothing is off limits as we sat and talk to the icon. Tonight we take it from the beginning, and we even learn some new things about the star that we never knew . It all happens here on primetime... Diane Sawyer sat with the star and is with her now....
Diane: it seems like it was just yesterday when superstardom took over the life of Roberta Strawder. Here I sit with the one and only Roberta Strawder . The model who has more creditentials than any other supermodel in her generation. Not to mention she is one of the first African American female to grace the cover of a magazine. She talks about it all. The beginning, the first music video, her being apart of Hollywood's "It Couple", her movie, her love, and what it's like being a newly wife of the one and only Michael Jackson. So let's get started shall we??
