Deep within the Nevada desert, 20 feet below the ground lies the infamous Guffaw Asylum - home for the most vile and questionable supernatural creatures. Six floors down and around holds a mix of open rooms to full on cells and prison holdings the further you go.
This Asylum is a branch from the S.U.A but is also funded by many wealthy packs in order to keep unwell supernatural beings from both revealing themselves to human kind or attacking packs to a large degree.
Guffaw Asylum is also a blended home to the Guff Eight, one of the most notable tracker groups within the US that specializes in finding those who are deemed unfit for normal socitial living.
Guffaw was established in 1921 with a treaty between the S.U.A and the supernatural higher ups (Alphas and coven leaders). Through the last hundred+ years this has not only been a permanent home for the mentally ill but also provides temporary sanctuary for those needing mental health care.
Guffaw is an open asylum meaning that people can come and either enroll themselves or under certain circumstances, can be enrolled by others if they are unfit to sign in themselves. For those who are captured and brought here there is very little chance to be sent on any form of release or get visitors.
Below the surface of the asylum, there is a seventh floor that utilizes each and every permant resident who extends their stay for more than five years. Experimentation is done, from regular blood work, to dissections, to experimental torture to see how long a body can last out.
With benefactors from GrayHide, to Crimson River, and from the Scarlet Kiss coven - access is given in seclusion to very specific outsiders to this underground facility.
