"Have you noticed it yet, Yudai?" asked Izo.
"Noticed what?" Izo sighed.
"That you won't defeat me with such a weak will. Dragon who attacks without rest, burning the fools who stand in his way. Carve a path of victory with your crimson blaze! Ride! Crimson Dragon Emporer, Dragonic Blaster Lorde!"(Grade 3, 11000) Yudai stared at the dragon in fear, much to Izo's annoyance.
"What's happened to you?! You're like a shell of the passionate, fearless, tenacious fighter you were! If swear to you, Yudai, if you don't give me the fight I want and the fight you need, you will regret it."

Yudai drew a card, but he hesitated. "I ride Cosmic Saviour, Orionus." Izo shook his head.
"No passion in your Ride. You really are out of it."
"Are you going to comment everything I do?! Liberating the Generation Zone! Generation Stride! Interplanetary Dragon, Shooting Star Dragon!" (Power: 26000)
"Huh, I remember this dragon. Let's see if he can actually get the job done this time." Said Izo.

"Whatever. Orionus' Stride skill. Look at the top three cards, bind and then superior call another Meteor Knight, Tachyon from the deck. Tachyon's Generation Break. I Counterblast and Soulblast. Since my Vanguard has 'Orionus' in its name I choose one Grade 2 or less unit from my deck, bind it and call it to the rear. I'll bind and call Comet Rider, Ryussei over Regulus. "Shooting Star's skill. After it attacks, I look at the..." Yudai began.
"Dude, I know how the skill works. Just do it." Said Izo.
"Jerk. Fine, I'll call Grade 1. Let's see what it is, I guess." Said Yudai, a faint bit of unsureness in his voice. Yudai flipped over the card and what was revealed shocked both Yudai and Rei. It revealed Comet Rider, Nova; not the grade Yudai needed.
"Just as I thought. His PsyQualia is losing effect." Izo said in his head.
"Woah, that doesn't usually happen. Yudai ." Said Rei. Yudai gritted his teeth, but then sighed.
"If the effect doesn't activate, as in I call wrong, the unit goes to the bottom of the deck." Not only was acting differently than normal, but because of what just happened it was a dark cloud was cast over him and he couldn't escape it. Once again, his crimson bangs covered his eyes, just like always when he was upset.
"Geo boosts Tachyon for an attack on your vanguard." (Power: 22000)
